3:48 - I suggest halfing how the slider goes for and doubling the amount of reapeats (this sounds better to me)

3:49.7 Add another note here, if you change the Slider, this makes it sound better and gets rid of an awkward Pause!

You may want to skip this whole part entirely.. I rant a lot on this because I don't really like this diff due to how awkward the placings are to me.

  1. Whole Beginning piano section | To be frank and honest. I'm not really fond of the extra notes aside from the piano playing here. There isn't anything playing in the background at all in most of the parts anyways so it seems really silly to map them. Just my opinion though.
  2. This difficulty seems to be quite a bit harder than it should when comparing it to the rest of the mapset. Not because of the jumps, but actually because of some of the notes you have placed under other ones. What feels like 1/2 gaps, are actually 1/1s and so on, creating quite a bit of awkwardness, and unreadability unless you fully memorized the note gaps. I really feel like this difficulty should be toned down quite a bit. less jumps, and maybe not hiding so many notes would work amazing.
  3. 00:06:381 (2) - delete?
  4. 00:09:506 (3) - Delete this whole slider as well, you don't really follow the other instrument here in the other spots so it just seems strange to map this. or try something like you do at 00:12:631 (2) - which would fit much much better, and still map to the notes you want.
  5. 00:44:714 (1,2) - First example of a badly placed note over another. The main problem is that you map on 00:46:797 (2) - which hits absolutely nothing in the music, so it creates the impression the note will be 1/4 or 1/1, and not 1/2. The 1/4 impression comes from the notes at 00:44:297 (6,7) - and the 1/1 impression comes from the whistle spot at the tail end of 00:47:006 (3) - | If you plan on keeping this rhythm, then I would suggest not hiding the circle underneath, and stacked on the upcoming slider which adds more confusion by the way, and I personally think it's too hard for a hard diff having two different note gaps all occuring on the same space.
  6. 01:09:714 (3,1) - Even though its quite far apart, how about stacking these two notes in the same position?
  7. 01:28:881 (1) - um.. why? I really don't get the reason for these reverse 1/8 It hits nothing in the song, and more or less actually ruins the flow to what should be rather calm. Especially in this difficulty.
  8. 02:21:380 (3) - delete? I see no point to this note and just feels like its there for something to hit, which shouldn't even be considered in this diff, and especially for this song.

    At this point I started playing through the song hoping to point out anything uncomfortable.
  9. 02:05:547 (7,1) - This is a really bad jump, A really awkward note to hit, or slider to end on. I would end the slider 1/2 earlier or move the (1) next to the tail end. I would suggest the former though
  10. 02:57:214 (2) - I always go for this 1/4 early. Its mainly because how you placed 02:56:172 (7,1) - it will always create the jump impression. This isn't good, and I would suggest trying something else here.
  11. 02:59:714 (1,2,1) - Delete the (2) if you plan on using a slow slider here with such a big jump. you don't really need to map the noise that starts at 03:00:339 - in my opinion. Just makes the whole playing awkward.
  12. 03:16:171 (4,1,2) - another jump that confuses me as well. If I manage to link (4,1) together, the (2) still feels like it should be 1/1 away. You must be some master of delusions or something because I really can't get the feeling of just hitting 1/2 notes here.
  13. 03:54:088 (2,3,4) - Not sure why you mapped to this as well. I really liked the 1/1 gap you had at 03:52:213 (2,3) - and was expecting another one after the (1)
  14. 04:19:296 (4,1) - A bit excessive of a jump to me. no build up for it
  15. 04:47:213 (1,2) - although I'm not a fan of the 1/8th reverses at all here, this would play much better with only 1 reverse instead of 3, and adding a circle 1/2 later (where the slider ends)
I really don't like this difficulty much at all. To me, when I play this. It seems like too much effort was used to try and make it harder than it actually should be. A few overmapped notes, as well as some undermapped confusion, and adding the overlapped notes does not help. It really feels like a chore to read in the long run, and really makes this not fun at all. To be honest, I think your Everlasting difficulty is easier than this.

  9. 05:00:338 (3,4) - why not follow the drums here? you made the effort to have the 1/2 gap and I don't even know if the note at 05:01:171 (5) - does anything special for the song so you could probably remove it?

You may want to skip this whole part entirely.. I rant a lot on this because I don't really like this diff due to how awkward the placings are to me. That sounds like an invitation to read this section instead of telling me to get off from here lol

  1. Whole Beginning piano section | To be frank and honest. I'm not really fond of the extra notes aside from the piano playing here. There isn't anything playing in the background at all in most of the parts anyways so it seems really silly to map them. Just my opinion though. Uh, for this... Well, avoiding to map the instruments, aside from the piano here, will create some sense of awkward emptiness, don't you think?
  2. This difficulty seems to be quite a bit harder than it should when comparing it to the rest of the mapset. Not because of the jumps, but actually because of some of the notes you have placed under other ones. What feels like 1/2 gaps, are actually 1/1s and so on, creating quite a bit of awkwardness, and unreadability unless you fully memorized the note gaps. I really feel like this difficulty should be toned down quite a bit. less jumps, and maybe not hiding so many notes would work amazing. ...I knew this would happen. Let me try to fix this.
  3. 00:06:381 (2) - delete? Done.
  4. 00:09:506 (3) - Delete this whole slider as well, you don't really follow the other instrument here in the other spots so it just seems strange to map this. or try something like you do at 00:12:631 (2) - which would fit much much better, and still map to the notes you want. Played around with this.
  5. 00:44:714 (1,2) - First example of a badly placed note over another. The main problem is that you map on 00:46:797 (2) - which hits absolutely nothing in the music, so it creates the impression the note will be 1/4 or 1/1, and not 1/2. The 1/4 impression comes from the notes at 00:44:297 (6,7) - and the 1/1 impression comes from the whistle spot at the tail end of 00:47:006 (3) - | If you plan on keeping this rhythm, then I would suggest not hiding the circle underneath, and stacked on the upcoming slider which adds more confusion by the way, and I personally think it's too hard for a hard diff having two different note gaps all occuring on the same space. I'll remap this part, then.
  6. 01:09:714 (3,1) - Even though its quite far apart, how about stacking these two notes in the same position? Nope; this one's completely unnecessary since (3) has already disappeared before (1) even appears.
  7. 01:28:881 (1) - um.. why? I really don't get the reason for these reverse 1/8 It hits nothing in the song, and more or less actually ruins the flow to what should be rather calm. Especially in this difficulty. Well, the "snapped-to-1/8" (?) instrument sounds doesn't really make the song any calmer, right? I think I need to get a little more intense here, so there you have it.
  8. 02:21:380 (3) - delete? I see no point to this note and just feels like its there for something to hit, which shouldn't even be considered in this diff, and especially for this song. The problem is... there are sounds from the instruments here. Oh, and leaving it empty will make this spot worse. I don't know if it will even help a bit, but let's try adding a whistle. It probably feels weird because of the inconsistent hitsounding... Probably.

    At this point I started playing through the song hoping to point out anything uncomfortable.
  9. 02:05:547 (7,1) - This is a really bad jump, A really awkward note to hit, or slider to end on. I would end the slider 1/2 earlier or move the (1) next to the tail end. I would suggest the former though Okay, shortened the slider.
  10. 02:57:214 (2) - I always go for this 1/4 early. Its mainly because how you placed 02:56:172 (7,1) - it will always create the jump impression. This isn't good, and I would suggest trying something else here. I hope adding a circle at 02:56:172 will help.
  11. 02:59:714 (1,2,1) - Delete the (2) if you plan on using a slow slider here with such a big jump. you don't really need to map the noise that starts at 03:00:339 - in my opinion. Just makes the whole playing awkward. Uh no. That noise definitely needs to be mapped because of how loud it is. Otherwise, players will be tricked to hit (1) 1/4 beats early. I'm also kinda bugged by this, to be honest, so any concrete solutions?
  12. 03:16:171 (4,1,2) - another jump that confuses me as well. If I manage to link (4,1) together, the (2) still feels like it should be 1/1 away. You must be some master of delusions or something because I really can't get the feeling of just hitting 1/2 notes here. "master of delusions" made me laugh for a minute lol. Anyway, this pattern didn't confuse me at all. It just follows how the instruments flow, and it works well for that. If there is a better pattern for this, though, tell me.
  13. 03:54:088 (2,3,4) - Not sure why you mapped to this as well. I really liked the 1/1 gap you had at 03:52:213 (2,3) - and was expecting another one after the (1) So I take it you want the rhythm to be like 03:52:213 (2,3)? Sure, I like that too. Done.

  15. 04:47:213 (1,2) - although I'm not a fan of the 1/8th reverses at all here, this would play much better with only 1 reverse instead of 3, and adding a circle 1/2 later (where the slider ends) Umm, I'm just following the instruments, and I don't really want to simplify the rhythm here because it'll feel awkward. Played a bit with the positions here to make this section more comfortable to play, though.
I really don't like this difficulty much at all. To me, when I play this. It seems like too much effort was used to try and make it harder than it actually should be. A few overmapped notes, as well as some undermapped confusion, and adding the overlapped notes does not help. It really feels like a chore to read in the long run, and really makes this not fun at all. To be honest, I think your Everlasting difficulty is easier than this. Well yeah. I should've realized that rushing to map a Hard diff in 4 days while being sick is not the right to do. Not that someone will be interested in making a GD here quickly, anyway, so I had to do it. Offset I found to be late; what you're after is -1932 (-10 ms) but in all honesty I don't know why you're bothering to map the beats before the 00:01:401 - mark in the harder difficulties at all. Have the rhythm mapping kick off on the stanza mark which gives everyone a better focus on what beats they will be playing.

The settings in this spread are really weird. You've got;
  1. Easy as 3/4/3 where the approach rate is way too fast for the easiest difficulty considering how low BPM this song actually is; reduce it by at least one tick.
  2. The middle difficulty feels more like a Hard so the spread itself is generally biased towards a higher rate of difficulty without much focus on a mid ground which is quite weird.
  3. Finally to Insane just goes all out which is reasonable.

Note: All of these mods are before the offset correction has been implemented.

Xinely's Years
Overall your spacing in this difficulty is rather inconsistent as you've got -0.02 ~ +0.04 variances in distance snap which is actually quite noticeable on a lot of the map. Please just go through (after disabling Grid Snap) and tidy all of it up so the difficulty looks better.

Just briefly going over a few things which are personally displeasing to see since it is a common occurrence throughout the entire difficulty sso basically apply the same theories brought up here into the rest of the map itself.
  1. 00:01:411 (1,2,3,4,1) - This arrangement is quite untidy and not visually pleasing in my opinion. The (1,2) both just looked randomly placed and (2,3) run off is gaudy to reach; aim for smooth transitions between every object like this -
  2. 00:04:744 (1) - This slider is far too 'steep' with the red anchor being there. The sounds that this slider is holding onto has a soft and linear feel to them so change this to a wave slider instead; rough example -
  3. 00:08:077 (1,2) -
  4. 00:09:327 (2,3,1,2,3) - There is no concept of flow here as the sliders just feel randomly placed without any thought of emphasising the music at all nor aiming for smooth cursor transitioning between the section. The outro of all this is the worst offender with 00:12:661 (2,3) - just being a really awkward and unnecessary snap.
  5. 00:19:327 (3,5) - These beats are unnecessary so remove them; focus purely on the piano tones which occur here which bring full emphasis the the highest point in the vocal notes as well as playing nicer in general as it gives a clear focus on which rhythm the beginners should be playing. This is the easiest difficulty so it should be mapped in a way that a completely clear rhythm can be heard and played to.
  6. 00:21:411 (1,2,3) - This is a prime example of where some better combo formation would have been perfect to emphasise the song more but you've chosen to just tightly place the object in a very forced obtuse triangle-like pattern
  7. 00:24:327 (4) - Same deal as 00:19:327 (3,5) - ; just focus on emphasising the piano instead of trying to mux in the offbeat vocals.
  8. 00:24:744 (1) - Map this as just a circle instead as there is nothing at all on the offbeat this 1/2 slider ends on that warrants it to be mapped like this.
  9. 00:30:994 (3) - Same deal as the other recommended actions; remove this as it doesn't have an instrumental focus.
  10. 00:31:411 (1,2,3,4) - Poor combo formation again, it's gaudy to look at as well as play. Please rework areas to have an optimal flow as well as smooth transition without the awkward cursor jarring.
  11. 00:35:994 (2,3,4,1,2) - Pretty obvious that you trapped yourself in the corner here swapping to a purely linear style which seriously conflicts with how the rest of this intro section has been mapped and just looks off. Topping that off with how (1,2) transitions with a weird snap just makes it even more awkward.
Going to stop here since a lot of the other issues I have with the mapset are exactly the same.

I will note however that 05:24:847 (1) - is highly advised that you shrink this spinner by at least two seconds since it is ridiculously long for beginners to play and will tire them out immensely. Heck, ideally I would prefer for the spinner to end on 05:28:076 - instead since there is no sense in having such a needlessly drawn out spinner.

Centuries
Give me a buzz after you have resnapped all the hundred plus notes and slider ends that are off.

You've even got illegally placed notes like 04:41:380 (1,2) - for example.
Hit me up again after Xinely's Normal difficulty has been tweaked and all of the unsnapped notes, etc. have been corrected in Centuries. Won't touch Everlasting until I can confidently complete the prior two difficulties first.

    Didn't I clearly state the difficulty spread in Creator's Words? It's supposed to be N/H/I. Not sure how did you end up making these conclusions to the point where it looked like I didn't tell them...
