Wireless Mice

So I've been thinking about getting a wireless mouse to play osu. I know I might sound crazy, but with vast improvements in wireless mice technology in recent years I thought it might be an actual viable play style; that is to say much improved battery life (e.g Razer Viper Ultimate has ~70 hours of playtime whilst Logitech G Pro has ~60 hours), vastly reduced latency and weight among others. The two main mice I'm considering are the Logitech G Pro and Razer Viper Ultimate which I've heard have had some pretty good reviews and feedback.

So... thoughts?

Edit: To detract from some of this, I have only been playing osu! for a couple of months though so I could just switch to tablet?

afaik mouses like the G Pro Wireless are really good and even some CS GO pros use them. I would say for you to go for it.

A while back, wireless mice were looked down upon since they had a very high delay, but nowadays the delay is like really small so you shouldn't worry about it

also I've joined back like 3 months ago and thought it would be nice to switch to tablet, and I did and it's way better than using a mouse. Recommend it

For osu alone, tablets are better, namely brands that uses battery-free design on their pens. Tablets are lightweight and pinpoint precise, which is a huge advantage over any mice.

For other games, wireless mice are addictively good. I haven’t yet tried viper ultimate or g-pro wireless, but I had some wonderful memories with g903.

I can’t tell which one is the better mouse since I haven’t used either one of them. Logitech mice could have some click malfunctioning (happened to my g903), not sure about Razer’s built quality though.

Wireless mice are NOT the way to go for osu in my opinion. Anything wireless can be useful for a nice clean simple setup and for basic usage but for a game like osu, it comes with huge input delay and is not recommended. Even a good mice with good reduced latency can still be noticable. If your planning to buy anything for osu, i'd go ahead and switch to tablet, After you get used to it you'll see a huge improvement.

This is year 9102 we’re talking about. Input delay of mice is small enough for serious competitive e-sports, if you have a spare $150-ish money. Players using wireless gaming mice for like Overwatch league are certainly not throwing, given that they have a big prize money at stake.
