Hey guys
So I have a really nice song that I wanna map, but it's 270 bpm, which doesn't allow for 5*-6* difficulties. Even if I half it there isn't really a way to make it playable in 5-6*. How would I get around this?

try to avoid 1/4 rhythms like streams, keep the spacing really close, or maybe try to make an alternating map

270 bpm, frick, even 300 allows for making easier diffs like 4*, it's just harder

I don't understand the question. There are lots of 5-6* diffs around that bpm, what are you talking about? Of course, if your song is dense and intense, you might not be able to represent it properly without making it harder. If that's the case, just suck it up and either map the song properly or map another song.

In that case mapping technique depends on the song you want to map. I think it would be nice if you share audio file or link etc

Also you can make any high bpm song easy to play by smooth shapes of sliders and jump patterns.I mean avoid square jumps, obtuse angles and any kind of mapping that makes right hand suffer.
Just increase the size of circles btw
