On Windows Media Player, it rips all the songs in to WMA's instead of MP3's. Could somebody help?
Where can I find a free one?neo@lex wrote:
Download a converter, there's millions.
Thanks, but it's complicated. How in the world do I use it?Loginer wrote:
Exact Audio Copy is a much more accurate ripper than WMP, and can save audio tracks as MP3 files. If you'd rather use WMP, though, I'd suggest using SUPER to convert the songs to MP3's.
Labyrinth walkthrough for SUPER's webpage: "Start Downloading SUPER" at the bottom, "download and use" below the part with the red border, and finally "Download SUPER © setup file" at the bottom.
Without the right plugins you're still stuck with .wma format - the only thing you can change is the bitrate. Which is why I'm grabbing this EAC program. It'll be nice when I get that surround sound system in.LuigiHann wrote:

Funny, I've been able to rip to mp3 using windows media player, without having done anything intentionally... possibly because I got that LAME encoder for Audacity? All the MB20 mp3s were ripped using windows media player.awp wrote:

That's almost as bad as telling people that Alt + F4 fixes all problems.neo@lex wrote:
To remove the restriction you need to go into C:\Windows or C:\WINNT and delete the folder named "System32".
