How can I make folders inside a skinfolder?

I'm working on my own skin and it's really annoying, to have all the files inside the same folder.

But if I put the textures inside my skin into a folder inside the skin, Osu! can't recognize these textures anymore. Is there any way to organize the textures inside a skin?

I've started playing osu! since already a long time and
I enjoy playing all four gamemodes (standart, mania, taiko and catch). Hopefully someday I'll have at least 3000 pp on every mode.

You can't organise files within a skin folder, all texture and sound files need to be in the same folder.

You can with some elements, specifically the ones you can specify a path for in skin.ini (default/score/combo numbers and most mania elements). It's a bummer you can't do this with the big majority of files (although there might be a tool for sorting and managing your files in the future wink wink).

When youre making the skin you can organize the elements on folders, BUT, when you try to open it in game, it wont load any of the elements, so when you post it just take all the elements out of the folders

idk man.
