I just don't see why this is not a thing yet, since the main ranking is based on pp. This helps mainly catch, because DT mod gives less score than HR but more pp (and in general DT scores are harder to make)
my suggestion is slighty different and the request you linked has been inactive for 12 months, plus, at least I gave the argument that the main ranking is based on pp
