Why does my beatmap have the preview background of another beatmap?

So basically, my beatmap's actual background isn't congruent with the preview background. Does anyone know how to fix this? I've tried tweaking the beatmapset ID and the beatmap ID in the notepad, but the preview background's still there. (the beatmapset ID and the beatmap ID is set to another map's on itself, so when you link it, it doesn't take you to your map)

p.s it's an unsubmitted beatmap of mine.

If the map is unsubmitted, it shouldn't have a id and default to "BeatmapID:0 BeatmapSetID:-1"

Image preview is cached in osu!\Data\bt according to the id of the map. I don't know how game handles multiple maps with same id.
  1. Try setting back default id.
  2. If this doesn't work, it's safer/easier to copy the .osu and .mp3 files somewhere else, delete the map and recreate it by reimporting the mp3 (use a different file name) and then using the backup .osu
  3. If this doesn't work either, Because I don't recommend to delete a .db file due to personal experience, ask in Help sub-forum if Death have better solution
