Hey, I just submitted by first map. I had to remove the background video because it said the map was to big. How do I attach a background video? Also, the song was shortened to be size but it's still two minutes long, how do I shorten it and fade it out? Thanks, I'll try to resubmit when these are fixed and when you mod it.

to attach a background video,make the osu window small,then go to the editor,enter the map you want to put the video in,
go to the video you want to set and just drag the file in to the editor.
after that,osu! will ask if you REALLY want to put the file as BG video.click yes.
its not a problem if a map is long or is more than 10 mb size,people still downlod it
to shorten (idk what do you mean by fade it out) just crop the file with your default audio editor.im not quite sure if these are the things you wanted to hear
you dont resubmit a already submitted map,you update it.
and modding can be only possible when you have already submitted the map
(i said the last 2 things cause you're a beginner,please dont mind)
just for knowledge,what do you use to play?
