Losing PP with a better play

I've had this thing happen before too but then I just lost some accuracy or whatever so I blamed that.
So I made a better play BUT I lost pp (not much only like 0,***).

Let's say my best play in this map before was - score:600000 combo:130 acc:93%
but the better play is now - score:800000 combo:180 acc:95%

Why did I lose PP?

Give us screenshots of the scores in question (Shift+F12 in client) instead of some vague "score was like this".
Impossible to give a reasonable answer otherwise.

I would guess you had couple more misses on your better accuracy play which cuts down your pp gain eventhough you had better accuracy overall

You did not lose pp from that.
That play didn't even make it into your top plays. What gives you the idea that you have lost any pp?

You know when you finish a map it shows you the same screen like the screenshots but if you scroll down it shows if you gained score and stuff
The pp box was red and my rank went down around 6 spots. From that I assumed I lost pp?

I just improved my score on some Normal diff and this is what I got:


Your rank is not updated in realtime but only when you set a new score that is either new or surpasses your old top score on a map. Other people are passing you while you're derping but it only shows in your rank after you submitted a new play.
That's why I lose 10 ranks here despite this score being absolutely insignificant for my pp.
