Osu!direct feature

Hey all, I recently bought supporter membership to try out its functionalities, but I think the osu!direct feature misses something, which is being able to use it while being in a lobby (being the host while changing the map) instead of quitting the lobby to download a new song for instance.
What do you think guys ?

Uh when you are in a lobby and the host picks something you don't have, just click on the map and it will download it automatically?

I meant when YOU are the host and want to put a new map that you don’t own searching it through osu!direct (recent approved ranked maps for instance)

Just popping in to say that if you can find the beatmap on the site, you can copy off the difficulty ID

Such as:
https://osu.ppy.sh/beatmapsets/781033#osu/1695469

and put
!mp map 1695469
into #multiplayer as the host, original host, or referee; to use a map that you don't have and found on the website to use.

The website beatmap search is similar to osu!direct search.
