It is Chinese New Year now over in Asia, right? Time zones can get confusing. :P

How are you guys gonna celebrate (if you are)? I'mma have a nice hot pot dinner tonight, and then there's calling relatives who are on opposite sides of the Earth. :o

Obama says we need change. Change Chinese New Year into a US holiday, please? X_X :?

By the way, Happy Australia Day! =O

EDIT: It's Lunar New Year in some Asian countries, so... >_>

Oh right, I forgot you're Asian YoshiKart. Wait, you are right?

Anyway, I celebrated today...That was great...Going to temple from far away for stuff was a pain though...At least it gave me the best sleep ever. ;D

It's also Auckland Anniversary Day here in Auckland, New Zealand, so, for once, we actually get a day off for Chinese New Year :)

Since I found this post, I would bump it up^^

Traditional customs are fireworks and crackers(although in some cities these things are banned because of serious pollution), big dinner in midnight, inviting relatives etc. Senior people give children lots of money so it's a great festival for most children, which will receive around ~2000 RMB(~300-400$) during the whole week. I just spent these days chatting over internet, visiting relatives and so on.

Well... Change Chinese New Year into a US holiday? It may seem like a good idea as you may have a week off. (the legal holiday is from 30th Dec to 6th Jan in lunar calendar)

---> Same here.

Korea has 3 holidays on Lunar New Year.(1/25,1/26,1/27)
But I don't care about it because my vacation is not finished yet.

Happy New Lunar year!!
