Just a "little" request-thing I would like to see in osu!.
I think it would be better if the beatmap packs in osu! would have an own file format (like .osp or something), because I don't want to download every pack, place it in the Song-folder and unpack it. A beatmap pack-file would be much nicer, because it could be opened with osu! directly or drag-and-dropped into the osu!window after download.

(sorry for my bad english, I hope you can understand what I want to say ;) )

1.download all packs through torrent.
2.select all packs in folder.
3.unpack to...
4.Songs folder

Well it would be faster for people who download packs. It'd be alot faster and less effort. It MIGHT also help prevent corrupted beatmaps

I can't see how it would prevent corrupted beatmaps at all. All I'd see this being is a zip file created out of ALL the beatmaps from the pack, then just a changed extension, much like osk.

Why make a new format of
Beatmappacks, if you can do,
for example, support for
archives game. Before
unpacking the archive of the
game would have checked the
archives for the presence of
extraneous files (not .osz).
After testing the game will
extract all .osz
