What are the blue lines that are on the timeline in the editor?

Alright, so I've been modding recently and I've always noticed blue lines on some of the beatmaps. Like, they are like BPM lines but they are below the timeline and they are blue. I never knew what these were for. (I know it's a dumb question, I'm still learning how to map as I go. Sorry!)

Theses are bookmarks, they don't do anything for a player, they just help you locate stuff in editor by appearing in the timeline and move the timeline by using hotkeys (never done that second thing).

Ctrl+B adds one on nearest tick, Ctrl+Shift+B removes nearest bookmark (up to a certain range)

Oh, I see. That's dumb. Why doesn't it explain it in the Wiki?
