Help, mapping difficulty with a friend.

i have a slight issue that im not sure how to resolve... im making a map with a friend and he has done some difficulties and i have done others... we agreed that the map would be uploaded on my account...
BUTT
i cant join the difficulties he sent me and add them to the ones i have made... can someone explain how i do that ?

Beleive if you change the creator name to your's then drag it into the mapset folder, it should be good. Otherwise, simply create a empty dif and copy the objects and timing points from his .osu to your new one.

Im slightly confused with the instructions you gave me... could you be clearer ?
