I have a video in the FLV format from Youtube that I need to compress slightly to fit under the 24 MB cap for ranking eligibility, but don't know of any freeware application that can compress it. Any help?

VirtualDub + Xvid codec = profit ???
And deleting MP3 from video of course, and before opening through VB you need to convert into Avi

What's a good FLV to AVI converter? I've tried two already and they won't read the file.
I'm using Adobe Media Encoder CS4 (from after effects packet)

MeGUI + x264 works well.
For the FLV to AVI converter, try Pazera Free FLV to AVI Converter. Works pretty good so far.
To decrease the size of the .flv, remember to remove the audio, and maybe decrease the resolution and bitrate of the video \:D/
