An announcement pertaining to the Mother series would be PERFECT at this time due to these factors:
- It is Mother's 30th anniversary on July 27th.
- Currently the Chinese year of the Pig.
- Fans have been wanting a Mother remake / game for ages now.
I think the possibility of another Mother character as a DLC fighter in SSBU is possible as well. Nintendo essentially said that the presence of spirits deconfirms that character as a fighter, but there are still characters that are not spirits, such as Porky.
A Mother remake / game announcement would make my year, no joke.
I've been playing a lot of Tetris 99 and it's sooooo much fun. Really difficullt. I never played Mario Maker, but I'm pretty excited for the second one!
