Are you tired of playing boring maps and uninteresting songs?
Now we're amping up the enjoyment and reducing the stress-factor.
The procedure will be in the order of a new version of Qualifier Stages, followed by the usual Bracket Stages.
There is no rank limit for registrations, the best players advance through Qualifiers.
By the way, joining the Discord server is required.
4 Iterations, 4 Mappools
The 4 mappools consist of 5 maps (1NM, 1HD, 1HR, 1DT and 1Wildcard)
Each mappool will be focusing on a skillset, named
1. Speed
2. Rhythm
3. Reading
4. Non-Standard Mapping
Every pool contains a Wildcard map that is effectively the opposite of the skillset being tested.
Each player plays the mappool twice in Qualifier lobbies.
Every Iteration will have a leaderboard consisting of every player's total score.
After the first iteration, only the top 128 players will continue on.
After every iteration from then on, the bottom 32 players will be eliminated.
The remaining players after the 4th Iteration will be reseeded based on placings on all 4 Iterations.
By the end, there should be 32 players left after Qualifiers.
UPDATE: Due to smaller player size, it is now 96>64>32>16 instead of 128>96>64>32.
To test your strategics and remove bias-ness, all four pools will be revealed at the same time.
There will be lobbies for all 4 mappools every week, and you get to choose which order you'd like to play throughout the 4 weeks.
After Qualifiers, the remaining players would be seeded as previously stated.
Double Elimination, Loser's Bracket play same mappool as Winner's current pool on that week.
RO16 to be in BO9, QF and SF BO11, F and GF BO13.
Maps played in Score v2, with EZ scores multiplied by 1.5x.
Finals & Grand Finals use the same mappool.
Players can anonymously request maps into the pools via forms provided.
Players also during Qualifiers can choose not to play a second attempt if they wish so.
Wildcards can be forced NM or FM.

Q: What's considered "Non-Standard Mapping"?
A: Maps that would benefit players that practise the pool, however it isn't impossible to sightread either, though it is very much heavily discouraged.
Q: What if the last player to get eliminated in Qualifiers is tied with someone else who wouldn't be eliminated?
A: We'll judge by overall accuracy. Also how can two people have the same total score of 5 maps?!
Q: I don't think (insert literally any map here) is considered a banger.
A: We have mappoolers to agree on what maps do the majority find suitable, however it would be impossible to completely match the different musical tastes of hundreds of people.
Q: Can staff participate in the tournament?
A: Unless you're a mappooler, yeah. This sure as hell ain't getting a badge.
Q: Why is there such a long duration to when the tournament actually commences?
A: This tournament will require a ton of planning, as well as to give people a break from all the current ongoing tournaments.
Q: What if there isn't over 128 players that signed up?
A: We'll fight on and continue the tournament, with alterations to fit whatever the size may be.
Q: Why are EZ scores multiplied by 1.5x and not 2x or 1x?
A: I strongly believe that having to resort to using EZ rather than HD or HR and to still have equal scores is too unfair, in a way requiring less "skill" for the minority of players that have a niche in playing EZ.
Q: How will seeding for brackets work?
A: Your overall placements amongst everyone else for each week in Qualifiers. This means that every week holds equal weightage and as such placing 64th/128 one week and 32nd/64 on another would be the same. However since the first week has an unlimited player size, how you choose to perform (well) is up to your own strategies.

tl;dr
there are 4 different skillset mappools for qualifiers, you pick one to play per week. after the first week, 96 players left, followed by 64, 32, 16. then there will be the usual bracket stages. bad host, enjoy the trainwreck.
(mark my words this will be so unbelievably successful)
