Hello, I have a big Beatmap collection for my favorite songs and would like to pull this for a buddy on a USB stick, so that he can use this, is that possible, if so how?

To give your friend all of your maps, copy the osu!/Songs folder onto your USB stick. You can easily find your osu! folder through the settings, shown below.
If you mean that you only want to give your friend the maps in a specific in-game collection, I'm afraid you're out of luck there, although you can still give them your entire Songs folder.

Yes, you can import, export and manage collections through a 3rd party software called Collection Manager.
