If you're like me, you've likely been frustrated with the track record displayed the 'top 20 community vote' videos in recent years. With each year having a new editor take the torch, I have decided to take it upon myself to do it this year, as every year there seems to be no one willing to take the heat!
I believe that these videos are an important part of documenting osu!'s history over the years and it is one of my favourite traditions in the community, and so I cannot wait to be the one to present it to you this year - hopefully on time!
In order to vote, please provide an ordered list containing your personal top 10-15 players. Votes will then be counted and awarded with the full 15 points for first place, 14 points for second, etc. You must vote for at least 10 players. I am trying a system with 15 votes this year as in previous years I found it difficult to vote for only 10 players which i felt deserved to make a spot in the top 20, and I'm sure some others felt the same.
Rules
- Your vote must only take into consideration the achievements of players during the year 2018. Achievements from before or after 2018 are irrelevant.
- You must vote for at least 10 players, and a maximum of 15 players.
- Votes for players who are restricted as of 1st February 2019 (when votes are counted) will be ignored.
- You may not vote more than once.
- You may not vote for the same player more than once.
- If your vote is bullshit, I reserve the right to not count it.
Voting will close on the 1st February 2019, 0:00 UTC
Have fun ^-^
Some extra information about the video itself
If you do not know who I am or do not trust me to deliver on this, as I am fairly inactive on the official forums, then I feel it is necessary to mention that I helped work on last year's video with Nyanaro (counting votes and creating the redone thumbnail), as well as being a well-trusted member of the community on r/osugame and other social avenues. The production style and quality of video will aim to match 2013's, which can be viewed here
