[resolved] clarification about pp needed

Problem details: I'm still new to the game so I don't really know how it works but I had 513 pp then I finished a map that shows up as 21 pp in "recent plays" and that I never finished before. Then when I scrolled back I had just 516 pp. Can someone explain why I got 3 pp instead of 21.

Every play below your top play (53pp) is weighted. This means, for every play below it, it's multiplied by 95%, and exponentially weighted for every play below.

You can see in your "Best Performance", weighted 46% - it only awarded you 10pp, and every play below the 21pp play is multiplied by 95%, causing you to only gain 3pp.

It's actually a good system that prevents people from getting a ton of pp by just playing easy songs over and over. The weight system encourages growth.
