Uninstall osu! and reinstall it. Should solve the problem.

Not necessarily...just delete the following files in the game folder (by default "c:\program files\osu!):
osu!.cfg
osu.___.cfg
* ___ is your windows user.
and everything will go fine again...just reconfigure and let osu! check songs...

And i don't think you lost points during the issue.

Yes...the problem has been resolved...he told me in PM that osu! was running fine again...Then can lock the thread. (inb4 useless replies)
