Tournament info
What maps are going to be played? What does "The All Rounder" really mean?
The All Rounder is a tournament that aims to stretch the overall abilities of you as a player, shining light on both your strengths and weaknesses. Players will be rewarded for their overall ability at all aspects of osu!standard, and/or use their experience to know what aspects of their game they need to work on!
Tech, streams, stamina, speed, aim, finger control, reading, or all of the above. The maps in this tournament will stretch your abilities as an osu! player.

What's the map difficulty?
By stretch your abilities, we mean you will be challenged with difficult maps, maps where you might have no chance at achieving a full combo. We will test your ability to maintain solid accuracy and string together high combos on very difficult maps.
Qualifiers will focused around a 5.2★ consistency map
Group Stage will be focused around a 5.3★
Knockout Stages will escalate in difficulty as the rounds go on
Round of 32 - 5.5★
Round of 16 - 5.7★
Quarter Finals - 5.9★
Semi Finals - 6.1★
Finals - 6.4★
Grand Finals - 6.7★
Map pools: Qualifiers map pool will be released the weekend when registrations end. After that, map pools will be released weekly on Mondays for every round.

So how are the qualifiers going to work?
There will be 1 week of qualifiers, consisting of 5 unique maps in order to test a full range of skillsets. Your ability to use mods will also be thoroughly tested with map pool choices.

You are not competing directly with the players in your lobby. Everybody will play the same map pool, you are competing against the scores of everybody in the tournament. The ranking system will work on a point based system, awarding points according the the overall rank you achieved on each separate map. Your total points will be used to determine your final placement. For example, 1st place overall on a map gets you 1 point, 53rd place on a map gives you 53 points. The lower your total points, the better, as that means you ranked highly across multiple maps.

Group stage format
64 registered: Group stage will consist of 16 groups containing 4 players each
More than 64 but less than 80 registered: Any players outside of the top 64 in qualifiers will be eliminated so we are left with 16 groups containing 4 players each.
80 registered: Group stage will consist of 16 groups containing 5 players each
More than 80 registered: Any players outside of the top 80 in qualifiers will be eliminated so we are left with 16 groups containing 5 players each.
Groups will be decided by seeding according to final results in qualifiers
Everybody in a group will play each other once.
Group standings will be decided in the following order
  1. Match wins
  2. Head to head
  3. Map win/loss difference
  4. Map wins
The top 2 players of each group will advance to the Round of 32

Brackets
There will be a 1st and 2nd seed going into brackets, this seed is according to your placement in your group in the group stage.
The RO32 bracket will be generated randomly, with the only rule being that every RO32 match will be a 1st seed against a 2nd seed.
This tournament will be a double elimination bracket. Participants who make it through groups deserve a chance at a losers bracket.

So then what will the schedule look like?
  1. current date - December 1st [Registration]
  2. December 7, 8, 9 [Qualifying]

Rescheduling will be allowed in case of any situations where it is needed.

Regarding Disconnections
In Qualifiers
  1. Should a player disconnect in a qualifying match, they will have to participate in the map again in the replay rounds in order to avoid a score of 0 on the map they disconnected on. They will be allowed 10 minutes to reconnect before the lobby continues normal proceedings without them.
In Group Stage onward
  1. Should a player lose connection before 30 seconds of a map has been played, they may reconnect within 10 minutes and replay the map. This will only be allowed once per lobby. Any disconnections after the first will be a map loss, no matter what time it occurs.
  2. Should a player lose connection after 30 seconds of a map, that map is counted a loss. This applies for tiebreakers as well. I understand that it's unfortunate for real disconnection issues, but it is necessary in order to avoid foul play.
  3. If a player fails to reconnect within 10 minutes, they will lose the map. They then have 5 more minutes to connect or they will lose the round as a whole.

To be honest, this project is an idea that I started as a one man army. Why? Because I wanted to, and I'm not underestimating the work it takes. On the contrary, I try my hardest to make every preparation I possibly can as a tournament host along with the staff graciously helping out.
That being said...
THERE ARE STAFF ROLES OPEN
