Japanese only. Wii exclusive (Also in arcades in Japan). Probably never coming to the US or Europe. Tatsunoko is some random Anime company that made 80s anime that nobodies ever heard of. Regardless, this game is awesome. Kind of wish it had WiFi, though.

Oh, and don't try importing on a US or PAL Wii, unless you know what you're doing, it could brick it. Fortunately, I know what I'm doing and it works on my US Wii. :)

I mentioned this game in IRC yesterday(I doubt anyone cared)

It's nice to see viewtiful joe in the game since hes pretty much a giant parody of some tatsukono characters(even though hes parodying the genre as a whole and he is basically a mashup of japanese shows as a whole since there are references to live action shows too)

Actually Capcom has yet to say that they've given up hope. Last time they said anything they said they WERE working on an American release.

They've kept their mouths closed since then though ;-;(which basically means no)

I have 2 wii's I really need to mod one. 1 updated and one untouched by teh intarwebs.

Oh, and according to my friend who knows less about anime than me, Tatsunoko made Speedracer. Too bad the main character of that show isn't a character, that would be awesome.

Tatsukono made many things that you never think about.

And I know where to look to mod a wii tyvm.

It's just I have 2 wiis. So why not go all out on 1.

Actually, there basically is. You really do need to do the Twilight Hack, though. It doesn't count as modding, you don't need to open up your Wii or anything. And, I think the Datel Freeloader does work as long as your firmware isn't too high (which I'm guessing it is :? ). PM me and I'll tell you everything you need and how simple this is to do. There's virtually no risk.

If you've been updating your wii then stop doing updates and wait for the twilight hack team to release a version for what you have.(if you want to be careful with 3.4)

I just found out I never updated my main wii to 3.4, awesome.

I sailed all the way across the Atlantic Ocean, past the Indian Ocean and over the Pacific Ocean to the other side of the world under the Jolly Roger, fighting off anti-piracy noobs with nothing but a broken bottle of whisky. Then I pillaged a small video game shop at the edge of Japan, and took the plane home like a sane person.

Indeed he was.

I hate pirating what I can buy but oh well. I'm not paying play-asia an extra 20 bucks.(Although I don't give a flying fuck about anyone else's morals, pirat all you want)

JUS didn't cost me more than 5 bucks above what a DS game costed to import :3.

So far my only complaint is that yami is one of those bosses that utterly destroys you or gets utterly destoryed in cliche capcom fashion

I'm going to go back to low blocking, short combo, low blocking, short combo, low blocking, short combo, quick super after yami does his flameish thing that pans the screen, Mega crush out of the final forms grab. profit.

I played it a little, yeah, Yami is hard, I actually never knew he was Yami till I saw his hand form, he was one of the forgettable final bosses. My favorite currently is Ryu and the Black Ninja. The bikini girl with her goons remind me of an old anime with a Tomato as a hero, her voice sounds like an old hag. The credits music, when you play as them on bicycles collecting letters, reminds me of an old anime of an old woman who shrinks with a spoon, I think it was the opening song.

Yami is a disgrace. Low block, quick attack, low block, quick attack till first forms dead, super jump then dashing backwards to avoid that circle explosion life sucking thing. 2nd form is even easier, low block, short attack, low block, short attack. 3rd form is cake unless I get really unlucky. I always have 5 bars of super coming into the fight. low block, aerial C attack(as batsu), repeat. If grabed mega crush out of it, when he calls the missiles for his super. attack and low block or just low block and do a quick attack afterwards. When he does the flame beam, heres the time for a super. low block and immediately after it passes over you do your quickest super. after playing for a while you find a butter zone where your too close to yami for the yellow orb to hit you but when he pounds his fist into the ground its a low block.

You CAN just go yatterman-1 and spam his special where he rides his robo dog or whatever(the giant one) across the screen and kill his final form without him hardly touching you.

The black ninja guy is Karas. He has too little HP for me to enjoy(he has the absolute lowest out of any character, even roll). But has one of the best defensive play styles.

Batsu is my main so far, Viewtiful joe or casshern(android guy who has teh lightning and the robot dog) are my backups because cassherns assist is so damn useful and viewtiful joe makes for great variable air raves(quarter circle forward on the d-pad + partner button). Although I'm constantly experimenting.

Also, sequel is already in consideration(With a small list of characters the creator is hoping to see in the 2nd game such as leon) <3 Capcom

The way I beat Yami is incredibly unoriginal and cheap. I can nearly perfect him. Seriously.
I go Rock Volnutt and fully charge his projectile (the one when you press Strong, I think). And I just keep holding back to block all attacks. I also super jump when needed (like during the last forms grab attack). Just keep blasting Yami with the fully charged. Kills first form in like 3 hits, second in like 5 and 5th in like I forget the numbers, but it kills him awful fast. And then I usually just get him down to a tiny bit of health and kill him on a partner swap, that way I get another persons ending! :P
I feel kool for figuring it out on my own. You can also do some specials (specifically the rapid fire special) to make it go even faster, but if you time it wrong you'll get hit.
