Though the mode you're playing can sometimes be determined by the map name ([Ono's Taiko] would obviously denote that the person is playing taiko mode) its still far easier and quicker to glance at the tab and immediately see both the mode and mods in use. For people who spectate a lot this would be a significant benefit.

Was just about to make a thread with this exact feature in mind.
The only thing I would like to add is, the ability to see the mods used on top scores that show on the scoreboard when spectating people.
Many times I'm watching someone play with mods, and wondering if they are going for #1. So I end up having to end spectate go to the map and see what mods are used in #1 rank.

I play a song with Double Time, Hidden, and Sudden Death and get 0 spectators because they think i'm playing with no mods but then i get spectators when i play an impossible song with Half Time or Easy because they think i'm playing without using difficulty reducers and that's when the spectator rage quits start happening

When I play [Hard] maps, ppl think I play with diff increase mods when I play it normally
I like the parts with the mods but I thought it already showed what you were playing.
Mods: hidden,hardrock,doubletime etc. these aren't shown
Modes: standard, ctb, taiko, mania these are shown

It's a nice to have, but imo it'll look more consistent if the mod icons are shown ONLY when you hover over the panel (ie mod icons only shown when song/map info are displayed). It just looked a bit weird (to me) that mod icons are displayed with player stats.
