It's claustrophobic to move in such small space when the first beats are so close to the start. Placing beats near the absolute start is crammed and should be improved upon. I'm talking about during editing a beatmap (placing notes and whatnot). I want to be able to move a bit beyond the start of the mp3, just like we can do in Design when making storyboards.

Would 1000ms be enough? and of course, you will not be able to place notes before 00:00:000, just as always.

Also a glitch which should be fixed, if you go in design, travel before the music starts, place a note, the music will not play and the note will be non-functioning. < Why can you do this when you should not do it, and it only causes bugs?

Please come up with suggestions and criticism for this feature request.

putting any note within the first second of an mp3 is stupid and should be avoided due to bugs.

Make your mp3 better.

You shouldn't be able to put beats before the music starts and I don't want to make the mp3 any longer. It's not something every mapper with a beatmap which starts in the beginning would want to do.

More like what you want it's already there:

No. I want to be able to move during editing of the beatmap, not wating for it to play when playing.

I think this should be implemented with that. So you can move that amount of time before the music start while editing.

Why do you even want to move before 0:00:000 for non-SB purposes

Just a second or two. So that it isn't too small of a space while mapping the first few beats. Imagine a beatmap where the first beat starts at 00:00:002 and you have to press beats there and do hitsounds and shit. Having such little space to work with is extremely annoying and makes you use the go back to the start button all the time.
Everywhere else in the beatmap you have enough room to do this.

Well i can't say i support this considering i never have such issues since i dont map to the first sound in the song but to when the music actually kicks in not the build up

To have issues with it you have to work with a beatmap with music that starts almost immediately. It's why the audio lead-in exist.
