I remember when I used to rest in your lap of forests,
And how you fed me with food and water when I’m needy;
I remember when I used to reside within your hug of wildlife,
And how you had given me the authority to control, and destroy.
But then you inundated me with your flood of your tears,
You roared me with typhoons of disciplinary cusses;
But then you struck me with earthquakes of corporal punishment,
You even tried to warn me by killing some of me with disasters, but I didn’t refrain the destruction.
Day by day you grew older and feebler,
And the punishment become harder and severer.
It was until the day you died,
I realized I had killed you, and me together.
The Earth provided us with riches and provisions,
We returned her with war and pollution.
When have we become so blind, and so deaf?
And how you fed me with food and water when I’m needy;
I remember when I used to reside within your hug of wildlife,
And how you had given me the authority to control, and destroy.
But then you inundated me with your flood of your tears,
You roared me with typhoons of disciplinary cusses;
