osu! has grown a lot bigger over the years. A staple feature of IRC clients is the auto completion of nicknames, mostly for easy highlighting.
The default behaviour of the auto complete function seems to encompass all online users. That makes auto completion less useful, since I probably don't want to highlight someone that is not in the current chat channel I'm sending a message to.
I think this could be improved by limiting nickname auto completion to users who are in the channel currently open in the client.
