there's been a few disqualifications for silenced hitsounds on the reverses of sliders recently, but the ranking criteria doesn't mention this as an issue anywhere. it was likely overlooked when creating this guideline:
to include reverses, the guideline should say something like this:
this basically means reverses like 01:20:694 (5) - on https://osu.ppy.sh/b/887502 are fine silenced, while 00:10:635 (2) - on the same map would be breaking the guideline (if it were silenced)
Spinners and sliderends should have hit sound feedback. If either are used to represent a held sound and do not end on a distinct sound, having no feedback is acceptable.
