Hello, again!

This here will be my 3rd map. My previous two were pretty bad it seems, but this time I hope to please you, Echo! I used your suggestions.

Anyway, as usual, this map is from a game, Real Bout Fatal Fury 2. The song is Joe Higashi's theme, titled "Thai Nanbu Ni Tsutaetai Atarashii Shi", the Thai stage theme.

As with all my maps, this song is fast. Not in a sense of song speed, but in note speed. No sliders or spinners. All notes. The song is very addicting, so I hope you enjoy it.

I tried to make the map as easy as possible without making it TOO easy. I of course make some areas, right before breaks harder. Well, feel free to comment. The average player is not going to be able to play this map. ^_^

I am really confident about this one. So please leave feedback!
Edit: Version two:

http://peppy.chigau.com/files/RBFF2%20OST%20-%20Untitled%5BV2%5D.osz

Changes:
- Added more combos to help players anticipate unexpected notes. I hope this will help in "getting" the beat after playing it a few times. However, as a result, no combos exceed 4 or 5, usually. Not sure if this is a bad idea...Echo?

- Redid some spacing and removed some notes that were placed to no beat, (must've been my imagination at work...)

Echo: I did change the BPM and resnap, but I swear the timing felt off when I did so. Perhaps I'm too used to my current timing that the new one felt weird. Either way, I'm sticking 153.02.

Feel free to comment...

That was a great beatmap! A lot of improvement from your other beatmaps =D

However, just a couple of small things:

Song tend to have a whole number of BPM, and I feel this one should be 153.00. Resnap at 1/4 beat if you change this.

Your spacing is sometimes a bit inconsistent. For example, look at 0:36 and compare with 0:37.5 - both these sets are half beat apart, but the spacing is very different. Also, note things like 1:23, where, although it's obvious that they're half beat apart when playing, it still might confuse a player. You don't want to force a player to learn your beatmap before they play.

Nice to get positive comments from you, Echo =)

I don't copy/paste anything, so you'll never see anything that is exactly the same.

I looked at the metronome for the whole song. The BPM seems to be accurate, are you sure it needs changing?

I'll look at 1:23 and find out what you're talking about.

Edit: Went through the spacing. Shortened the gaps a little bit. Left the spacing in the 40's before the first break the same.

As for the BPM, I really feel it's right where it is... But in case you disagree, Echo, I won't upload the new version until I hear from you.

The song is addicting indeed, a very good BPM to do. However, my only against stuff is that you need to know the song, which I don't, so I totally burned up and died. The beat is a complete difference from the previous one, which is great. And another thing, but it's always personal taste is that I don't like things cramped for me, not that I'm claustrophobic or anything, it gets hard to read, like a very low-BPM song on DDR or a slow moment with a bunch of 32nds and 64ths at some rhythm game like O2Jam.

Other than that, this is pretty nice. Awesome. :3

The timing issue is very minor, it doesn't really matter. I listened through at 153.00 and 153.02 and the difference is barely there. Just use whichever one you feel is more accurate.

Personally, I like beatmaps with small-ish combos. I haven't got much to say now ;D We'll wait and see what the other mods think.

BTW, you don't need to change the file name when uploading, it'll automatically overwrite the previous copy.

Noted. I can see some emo kid rewriting random maps for fun though...hope that never happens. Reuploaded yet again for name change.

Never thought you'd have nothing to say, Echo. What are your thoughts on how I did the combos? Helpful, you think?

New submission system will be up this week, which will fix all this :). IF YOU ARE AN EMO KID AND READING THIS, DONT GO EMO FOR ANOTHER FEW DAYS PLEASE!

I don't see any problems with it. There is some beatspacing inconsistences, but nothing mayor.

Good job!

Performing CPR... ... ... Topic resuscitated. Bump successful.

Having a hard time finding songs, thought I'd go back to old maps that were of some interest and go over them again and apply knowledge acquired since.

I made no significant changes other than spacing and placement. It's still about fast notes. This is a challenge of accuracy, I suppose.
