Let's not start a flame war here guys, let's just spread awareness for now. I don't want to see this thread get locked because one person has opposite views. I'm glad you watched the video at the very least and even though we don't have the exact same opinion we both know that there is something wrong here. We've all invested different amounts of time into awareness of this (.3. I've done some fairly interesting things myself regarding the subject) and at the very least you at least took the time to look into it.ShangMing wrote:
Who the fuck are you?Agnes wrote:

Anywho, thank you for bringing this to our awareness. I'll also try to spread the word and possibly donate.
And I thought it was obvious I was emulating an American politician. If you even bothered to do research, this Kony guy has been on a "terrorist watch list" for over 10 years, and basically nothing has been done about him. I am being realistic here--nothing is going to happen to this guy because of this video, and you--"possibly donate"? lmao.

I didn't hear about this guy until this video. What he's doing is pretty damn sick.
Seeings how I'm low on cash, all I can do is pray.
I hope he'll be arrested!
the Internet is full of people who want to be part of an admirable movement as long as it requires minimal effort on their partMashley wrote:
Yeah this is great and all but seeing this video posted everywhere is driving me mad
Pmuch my thoughts as well.Cuddlebun wrote:
the Invisible Children movement has been around a few years and it's done absolutely jack squat. All it does is suck in your money and at best makes delightfully educational pamphlets and videos. KONY 2012 is just another fad; people will repost or share the video and feel they've done their good deed for the day by sharing it with someone else who has seen it five million times from other people on facebook. Nothing is going to get done and Ugandan child soldiers will go on with their merry little murderous lives. In a week or so everyone on facebook will go back to posting the same mundane statuses and everyone will have forgotten this.
yawn.
That is incredibly blunt but it is the unfortunate truth of the matter.Cuddlebun wrote:

oh wow. Welp! The things you learn. Since I don't get on Facebook often or at all, my method of just passing the video around is ineffective anyway.Cuddlebun wrote:
