Writing in Japanese [Resolved]

Hello. こんにちは。
I would like to speak with The Japanese in their own language on osu! chat, but I don't know how can I use those characters. I'm using windows 7 and ofc. tried to change fonts with alt+shift but it didn't worked. Do I need to download japanese client or something? Do you know any tutorial how to write in Japanese ingame? If so, please let me know.

When using japanese keyboard setup you can click somewhere on your keyboard panel in your taskbar (or wherever you have it) and a list of options should appear (Large Hiragana, Large Katakana, etc) just select the one you want to type with.

Easiest way is to install Microsoft IME (google for it). There are other IMEs, but this one is pretty basic and works well.
After installation, you can switch between romaji, katakana and hiragana input, it should look something like this when you use hiragana input:


Then you just type and your text gets automatically changed into kana. If you want to insert kanji, type the spelling and hit the spacebar - hit the spacebar multiple times to cycle through the possible kanji combinations. Hit enter to select the kanji you want or to finish the kana parts without adding kanji.
So if for example you want to type 日本語, you type にほんご and hit space

A couple of very useful key combinations when japanese input is selected:
Alt+~ (tilde key) Changes between romaji and katakana/hiragana (depends on what was used the last)
Alt+Caps Lock Switches to katakana
Ctrl+Caps Lock Switches to hiragana
Shift+Caps Lock Switches to wide characters input

Also, if you have an english input (in addition to polish for example), just delete english and replace it with japanese

Oh. I thought i did post there when I found the solution. Alt+ tilde was the key :) Anyway thanks for tips and these key combinations.
