About
The TAG Club Mapping Contest is based around the TAG Co-op gamemode, where the maps will be mapped with the TAG Co-op gamemode in mind.
Rules
- This contest is for the osu!std gamemode only. Entries for the other gamemodes will be disqualified.
- Submissions need to follow the osu!std Ranking Criteria and General Ranking Criteria. Although TAG difficulties are unrankable, we need to keep them playable.
- The difficulty submitted must include all from TAG2 to TAG16 in the difficulty name, depending on how many players the difficulty is suited for. This makes it easier for the judges to judge your difficulty.
- Collabs are allowed, and all the participants will get credit. However, only the publisher of the difficulty will get the prize.
- Copying other people’s work is prohibited. It is not fair, nor do you show unique skills when plagiarizing.
- When the contest is on-going, participants are not allowed to share their beatmaps to the public or privately.
- Submissions after the deadline will be ignored. This way everyone participating will have the same amount of time to map.
- Custom hitsounds may NOT exceed 5MB total size. Custom hitsounds are allowed, but keep the amount limited, this is so it doesn’t take too long to download.
- Do NOT change the mp3 or the timing of .osz. This is to avoid any complications during the judging process since you will be be submitting .osu rather than .osz.
Format
- The base .osz file will be released at the beginning of the contest at a specific date. The link to the .osz will only be available to those in the discord server.
- When the contest starts, participants will have 2 weeks (or 336 hours) to map a single TAG difficulty (~2-3min).
- Once the participants have finished with their difficulty, they should submit the .osz to YokesPai (me) via either Discord DM’s or osu! PM’s.
- After the 336 hour time period has ended, no more entries will be accepted and any that are submitted past the deadline will be automatically disqualified.
- Judges will be given anonymous .osz sets and in the following weeks they will make up their scores based on their thoughts.
- Once the judging period has ended, I will release the results to the public.
