I currently single tap but I want to do alternating and I need some practice. Yet I find sing;e to be my strong point. Im not very good yet but I want to get better for the future. Any suggestions would help.

You should learn both, but either playstyle is fine. You learn alternating by simply playing maps and alternate instead of singletapping, no rocket science behind it.
Stay being a singletapper, switching to full alt will ruin your accuracy
I'd rather stay single-tapping, but who knows, maybe you give it time and you become even better alternating, although, let me say this;
You can always become better, no matter the way you choose, you just have to give it time and put some effort. It's not like the effort is gonna deceive you... *Sigh* I sound so cursi.
