So... let's get started!

[General]
  1. There are some redundant tags...? Why include the artist and the title again? They're just tags, but still...
  2. In some difficulties I saw some new combo irregularities... I'm not sure if you want me to go in depth with that. General suggestion would be that a new combo should start when the next phrase starts, and new combos should be consistent with the music.
[Skin]
  1. This is a somewhat minor thing, but the geki and katu in the skin (I think that's what they're called?), 300g.png and 300k.png, are exactly the same. It would be better if they were at least a little bit different because, although not as important, still are game elements. It's not unrankable.
  2. The sliderpoint10 and sliderpoint30 are invisible. Not an unrankable thing either, but... can't see why they have to be invisible.
[Easy]
  1. Just my opinion: I felt that most of the map was just 1/1 beats (beats on the white ticks), which felt a little bit boring. It's [Easy] so it's expected to a certain degree, but I always try to be varied even on easier difficulties.
  2. Another tip that might come in handy for future maps: patterns should be consistent. Take a look at the combo at 01:03:415 (1) - It starts with two sliders with two ticks, but 01:07:779 (3) is different; it's not consistent. If you wanted it to be consistent, 01:07:779 (3) should also be a long slider. Just an example to explain my point~
02:37:233 (1) - This spinner should probably end at 02:38:870, to give beginners more time to react.

[Kyshiro's Normal]

02:06:688 (1) - I'd have saved a slider like this for a special place in the song, like the last time he says "Trippin' super psycho love!". Oh well.

[Yli's Hard]
  1. This difficulty is cluttered... besides that, the flow is kind of slow for a Hard. I could even say [Kyshiro's Normal] is harder than this difficulty if it weren't for the difficulty settings... perhaps you should look into that.
03:16:506 (1,2) - This doesn't stack very well... perhaps you should non-stack them.
03:23:051 (1,2) - Same here, it'd look much better if it weren't stacked.

[Insane]

02:17:597 (1) - This spinner, I'd change it for a single circle at the start. The end point should follow the music, but it doesn't, and there's no good way to end this spinner, so I'd say it doesn't fit. :<

[Conclusion]
You've improved a lot, and believe me when I say that. Everything I pointed out? Not unrankable - if you had gotten a lax MAT and BAT you could have already gotten it ranked! I always try to make a map better though~

Also, the question I had originally brought up on IRC - would you want me to bubble? I say this because it might be more convenient to get a MAT first, then let me rank. I say this because I also don't like the idea of, being a BAT, increasing the bubble count.

I definitely can see this going for ranking very soon. Keep it up!

okay, I have done most of the things you wrote Gens! except that new combo O_O I think that's okay in mine D: or if not then could you point out where? and also, I didn't change was making the slider longer at about 01:07:779 (3), I've tried though, but it doesn't look so nice, and I'm not so creative anyway >.< thanks for the mod! *.*

okay, I updated the map, changed something on Insane and the skin has been corrected (hopefully), now let's wonder how many times I'll have to edit the first post, because of the red colour D: (cuz everytime I update the map it will show a code (or whatever) instead of the colour -.-")

As requested, a precise mod to make it look better than it already is :3

Easy:

  • 00:19:779 (1) - Slider isn't symmetrical, you should count the grids using medium or large grid, and then adjust the center point up or down using tiny grid to make sure the end point of the slider is exactly in the middle of it, this way it's 100% accurate ( http://puu.sh/poGR )
    00:21:961 (1) - However this one is symmetrical already, it's better to copy the first slider so that they're both exactly the same.
    00:26:324 (1) - This should be a copy of 00:24:142 (1) (And use CTRL+H to flip it)
    Suggestion: Move 00:31:779 (5,6,1,2) - a bit down, so that (1) and (2) are on the same height as (3)
    -If you didn't do the above mentioned suggestion, atleast fix 00:31:779 (5) as this is touches the HP bar.
    00:37:233 (1) - Touches HP bar
    00:52:506 (4,1) - You should make slider(1) have a blanket effect over (4) ( http://puu.sh/poKw ) (Use tiny grid to make this perfect)
    00:55:233 (1) - Not symmetrical (Use the technique mentioned above)

diff has a lot of triples. more than in Insane. Change some of them into sliders with reverses.. it will reduce max score and difficulty for consistency.

Okay, Aleks' post scared me about Hard being AR9. Let's check this out.

General
  • Tick rate 2 is damn perfect for this map <3
Easy
  • I must admit that the beginning was pretty bland, with 1/1 rhythms all the time, but the diff rapidly became more interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised, this is a quite good Easy. There are a few things that could be improved though:
  1. You missed two claps. It was probably done on purpose to avoid having a constant normal-clap hitsounding because you think it would sound bad, but I think it gives the map some flow that you should break only for special patterns. These are the claps you missed:
    1. 00:30:680 (4) - slider's end
    2. 01:49:771 (5) - slider's end
  2. There are a few finishes you missed as well that would add amazing flow to the map, because it would give the patterns more symmetry and make the map more consistent with itself. These are suggestions though, but consider them:
    1. 00:43:771 (3) - Add a finish on the beginning of this slider to have the same hitsounding as 00:41:589 (1) - ?
    2. 01:05:589 (2,3) - These would sound so much better with finishes on their beginning. The vocals go for a loud note at the beginning of each of these sliders, and the first one 01:03:407 (1) - does have a finish.
    3. 01:14:316 (4) - Same.
    4. 02:02:316 (2,3) - Same idea.
    5. 02:11:044 (4) - Same.
    6. 02:32:862 (1,3) - Here again, for symmetry, add a finish on the beginning of these sliders ?
    7. 02:59:044 (2,3) - Same as 01:05:589 (2,3) -
    8. 03:07:771 (3,1) - Same. Also, to keep your comboing consistent, remove the new combo on (1).
    9. 03:18:680 (1) - Here again, same idea. And remove the new combo as well. Then add one on 03:20:862 (4) - to stay consistent.
    10. 03:27:407 (3) - Same.
  3. Finally, some other problems:
    1. 00:48:680 (5) - This slider breaks the comboing, because it ends where a new combo should be. It'd be much better to fix that. Also it's a bit long, and it makes some claps miss, which sounds rather bad. (and it isn't symmetric). What I suggest is to make it end 1/1 earlier, and add a circle where it ended with a new combo.
    2. 00:53:044 (1) - For consistency with the rest of the map (pretty much a new combo every second big white tick), remove this new combo.
    3. 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) - There is a problem with this whole pattern. First of all, the comboing is inconsistent, because the slider are badly palced: they end where new combos should be. Second of all, by using a return on 01:15:407 (5) - you make the vocals at 01:16:498 - "passive", that is, the player doesn't have to click them (and there should be a finish at that spot). This is inconsistent with the beginning of the kiai and plays badly. To stay consistent with the beginning of the kiai, too, 01:17:044 (1) - remove this new combo. 01:17:589 (2) - This slider breaks the comboing as well, since the new combo should be on 01:18:680 - but the slider ends there.
    4. 01:37:225 (5) - Here again, the slider breaks the comboing: the new combo should be at 01:38:317 - but the slider ends there.
    5. 01:44:862 (1) - To be consistent in your comboing, remove this new combo.
    6. 01:53:589 (3,1,2) - Bad pattern here again. First, the new combo shouldn't be there. Second, the slider placement doesn't go with the previous long slider. Delete (1) and move (2) where it was, then add a note where (2) ended with a new combo.
    7. 02:12:135 (5,1,2,3,4,5) - Same problems as for 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) -
    8. 02:35:044 (3) - Add a new combo to keep your comboing consistent.
    9. 02:46:498 (2) - Same.
    10. 03:11:044 (2) - The repeat breaks the comboing. (see above)
    11. 03:15:953 (3) - This slider is badly placed. Its end is a highlight in the song (which I wanted you to highlight with finishes) and should be clicked, but the slider ends there and makes it passive.
    12. 03:24:680 (3,1) - Badly placed slider for (3), and remove the new combo on (1).
Kyshiro's Normal
  1. The sliders are too fast and the spacing is way too big... Difficulty settings are pretty high too.
  2. 00:19:771 (1,3) - Sorry but these sliders look awful. The very sharp turn that isn't linear makes a sharp angle in the border, while the other has a smoothish curve, and it looks really bad. As you went for linear sliders for the whole map, make these linear as well.
  3. 00:38:316 (4) - This clap sounds weird. If you had used that kind of pattern consistently in the map, it would have been okay, but this is the only time you use a double clap like this. To stay consistent, remove it.
  4. 00:45:953 (1,2,3) - Change the arrangement on this pattern. (2) is hidden under 00:45:407 (3) - which is not acceptable in Normal difficulties.
  5. 00:50:316 (3) - This slider is partially hidden under two hitbursts. Move it away.
  6. 00:50:862 (4,1) - To stay consistent in your comboing (and because (4) is the beginning of the sentence, not (1) ), swap these new combos.
  7. 00:54:134 (6) - Hidden under the previous slider's track and hiburst.
  8. 00:57:407 (1) - This is a bit nazi of me, but change the curve a bit so the slider's end (and the repeat arrow) don't get covered by 00:56:316 (4) - and its hitburst.
  9. 01:05:589 (1) - Just like for Easy, a finish here would sound amazing, be it only for symmetry in the patterns.
  10. 01:07:771 (1) - Same.
  11. 01:14:316 (4,1) - For consistency with the rest of the map, swap the new comboes. Also add a finish at 01:14:317 - for the same reason as Easy.
  12. 01:16:225 (3,4,1,2) - This pattern is bad. The slider placement breaks the comboing and the consistency of the map. The new combo should be on 01:16:498 - for consistency, but a slider ends there. Also, this is a strong note in the song and should be clicked, but sliderends make it "passive" (just like Easy), which plays bad. 01:17:317 (1) - This shouldn't have a new combo, while 01:18:680 (3) - should.
  13. 01:38:316 (1) - With all the room you had to place this slider, you chose the one that would result in the ugliest overlap with 01:36:953 (2) - . There are so many easy ways to fix this overlap, I don't even know why you didn't do it.
  14. 01:56:316 (5,1) - To stay consistent in your comboing, swap these new combos.
  15. 01:56:862 (1,2) - These sliders are missing claps. It sounds really empty without them.
  16. 02:02:316 (1) - Just like above (and Easy), add a finish on this slider's beginning.
  17. 02:04:498 (1) - Same.
  18. 02:11:044 (3) - For consistency, add a new combo here. Also add a finish ?
  19. 02:13:225 (5) - Add a new combo here too for consistency. Add a finish as well ?
  20. 02:15:407 (1,2,3) - Any reason why the claps are suddenly not on the downbeats (that is, second and fourth white ticks) ? It sounds sudden, and quite bad.
  21. 02:30:680 (1) - Change this slider's orientation so that its repeat arrow doesn't get covered by the hitburst from 02:29:316 (2) -
  22. 02:39:953 (2) - Starting with this slider (included), the claps are on the wrong tick. It sounds pretty bad and really inconsistent with the rest of the map. It ends with 02:48:135 (3) - this clap.
  23. 02:55:772 (3) - VERY bad repeat. It breaks absolutely everything you've done in the diff before: the comboing and the kiai patterns. This makes 02:58:498 (2) - this slider bad for the same reasons.
  24. 03:01:225 (5) - Add a new combo here for consistency with the other kiais.
  25. 03:07:771 (7,1) - For consistency, swap the new comboes. Also add a finish on (7)'s first beat (following my previous suggestions) ?
  26. 03:09:953 (3,1) - Swap the new comboes here too. And add a finish on (3)'s first beat ?
  27. 03:11:862 (3) - Very bad slider placement. The new combo is where it repeats. Delete it and replace with circle (with a new combo)+slider.

  • Because of Aleks' post, I was expecting a superinsane Hard with AR9 and ridiculous settings, but holy shit, this Hard is absolutely fantastic. There are a few things I think could be improved though:
  1. 00:36:680 (6,1) - Surprising jump, given that the other transitions to new comboes didn't have any jump at all, neither before nor after, and I don't think anything in the song calls for this. Please remove this jump and keep the spacing consistent to make the diff consistent.
  2. 00:45:407 (6,1) - Same. Even though you're transitioning into a new part of the song with different patterns and stuff, having such a big sudden jump isn't a good idea. It kind of ruins the effect.
  3. 00:45:953 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Seeing you kept a standard hitsounding on the patterns after this one, remove the clap on (3).
  4. 00:57:953 (2) - Remove the clap on this to keep your comboing consistent.
  5. 00:59:044 (5) - This slider is badly placed. It breaks the comboing and the patterns. I understand why you placed a slider here, but it'd be better to just have a circle here, and a circle at 00:59:589 - with a clap and a new combo (removing the one on 00:59:862 (1) - of course) to keep the patterns consistent.
  6. 01:01:225 (4) - Same comment.

  3. You missed the finishes. Follow what I said in Easy and Normal to add them, it sounds much better with them.
Mapset was interesting. Insane is meh because it's trying too hard to be difficult... And AR9 doesn't fit.

Easy
  • I must admit that the beginning was pretty bland, with 1/1 rhythms all the time, but the diff rapidly became more interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised, this is a quite good Easy. There are a few things that could be improved though:
  1. You missed two claps. It was probably done on purpose to avoid having a constant normal-clap hitsounding because you think it would sound bad, but I think it gives the map some flow that you should break only for special patterns. These are the claps you missed:
    1. 00:30:680 (4) - slider's end
    2. 01:49:771 (5) - slider's end
  2. There are a few finishes you missed as well that would add amazing flow to the map, because it would give the patterns more symmetry and make the map more consistent with itself. These are suggestions though, but consider them:
    1. 00:43:771 (3) - Add a finish on the beginning of this slider to have the same hitsounding as 00:41:589 (1) - ?
    2. 01:05:589 (2,3) - These would sound so much better with finishes on their beginning. The vocals go for a loud note at the beginning of each of these sliders, and the first one 01:03:407 (1) - does have a finish.
    3. 01:14:316 (4) - Same.
    4. 02:02:316 (2,3) - Same idea.
    5. 02:11:044 (4) - Same.
    6. 02:32:862 (1,3) - Here again, for symmetry, add a finish on the beginning of these sliders ?
    7. 02:59:044 (2,3) - Same as 01:05:589 (2,3) -
    8. 03:07:771 (3,1) - Same. Also, to keep your comboing consistent, remove the new combo on (1).
    9. 03:18:680 (1) - Here again, same idea. And remove the new combo as well. Then add one on 03:20:862 (4) - to stay consistent.
    10. 03:27:407 (3) - Same.
  3. Finally, some other problems:
    1. 00:48:680 (5) - This slider breaks the comboing, because it ends where a new combo should be. It'd be much better to fix that. Also it's a bit long, and it makes some claps miss, which sounds rather bad. (and it isn't symmetric). What I suggest is to make it end 1/1 earlier, and add a circle where it ended with a new combo.
    2. 00:53:044 (1) - For consistency with the rest of the map (pretty much a new combo every second big white tick), remove this new combo.
    3. 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) - There is a problem with this whole pattern. First of all, the comboing is inconsistent, because the slider are badly palced: they end where new combos should be. Second of all, by using a return on 01:15:407 (5) - you make the vocals at 01:16:498 - "passive", that is, the player doesn't have to click them (and there should be a finish at that spot). This is inconsistent with the beginning of the kiai and plays badly. To stay consistent with the beginning of the kiai, too, 01:17:044 (1) - remove this new combo. 01:17:589 (2) - This slider breaks the comboing as well, since the new combo should be on 01:18:680 - but the slider ends there.
    4. 01:37:225 (5) - Here again, the slider breaks the comboing: the new combo should be at 01:38:317 - but the slider ends there.
    5. 01:44:862 (1) - To be consistent in your comboing, remove this new combo.
    6. 01:53:589 (3,1,2) - Bad pattern here again. First, the new combo shouldn't be there. Second, the slider placement doesn't go with the previous long slider. Delete (1) and move (2) where it was, then add a note where (2) ended with a new combo.
    7. 02:12:135 (5,1,2,3,4,5) - Same problems as for 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) -
    8. 02:35:044 (3) - Add a new combo to keep your comboing consistent.
    9. 02:46:498 (2) - Same.
    10. 03:11:044 (2) - The repeat breaks the comboing. (see above)
    11. 03:15:953 (3) - This slider is badly placed. Its end is a highlight in the song (which I wanted you to highlight with finishes) and should be clicked, but the slider ends there and makes it passive.
    12. 03:24:680 (3,1) - Badly placed slider for (3), and remove the new combo on (1).

  1. The sliders are too fast and the spacing is way too big... Difficulty settings are pretty high too.
  2. 00:19:771 (1,3) - Sorry but these sliders look awful. The very sharp turn that isn't linear makes a sharp angle in the border, while the other has a smoothish curve, and it looks really bad. As you went for linear sliders for the whole map, make these linear as well.
  3. 00:38:316 (4) - This clap sounds weird. If you had used that kind of pattern consistently in the map, it would have been okay, but this is the only time you use a double clap like this. To stay consistent, remove it.
  4. 00:45:953 (1,2,3) - Change the arrangement on this pattern. (2) is hidden under 00:45:407 (3) - which is not acceptable in Normal difficulties.
  5. 00:50:316 (3) - This slider is partially hidden under two hitbursts. Move it away.
  6. 00:50:862 (4,1) - To stay consistent in your comboing (and because (4) is the beginning of the sentence, not (1) ), swap these new combos.
  7. 00:54:134 (6) - Hidden under the previous slider's track and hiburst.
  8. 00:57:407 (1) - This is a bit nazi of me, but change the curve a bit so the slider's end (and the repeat arrow) don't get covered by 00:56:316 (4) - and its hitburst.
  9. 01:05:589 (1) - Just like for Easy, a finish here would sound amazing, be it only for symmetry in the patterns.
  10. 01:07:771 (1) - Same.
  11. 01:14:316 (4,1) - For consistency with the rest of the map, swap the new comboes. Also add a finish at 01:14:317 - for the same reason as Easy.
  12. 01:16:225 (3,4,1,2) - This pattern is bad. The slider placement breaks the comboing and the consistency of the map. The new combo should be on 01:16:498 - for consistency, but a slider ends there. Also, this is a strong note in the song and should be clicked, but sliderends make it "passive" (just like Easy), which plays bad. 01:17:317 (1) - This shouldn't have a new combo, while 01:18:680 (3) - should.
  13. 01:38:316 (1) - With all the room you had to place this slider, you chose the one that would result in the ugliest overlap with 01:36:953 (2) - . There are so many easy ways to fix this overlap, I don't even know why you didn't do it.
  14. 01:56:316 (5,1) - To stay consistent in your comboing, swap these new combos.
  15. 01:56:862 (1,2) - These sliders are missing claps. It sounds really empty without them.
  16. 02:02:316 (1) - Just like above (and Easy), add a finish on this slider's beginning.
  17. 02:04:498 (1) - Same.
  18. 02:11:044 (3) - For consistency, add a new combo here. Also add a finish ?
  19. 02:13:225 (5) - Add a new combo here too for consistency. Add a finish as well ?
  20. 02:15:407 (1,2,3) - Any reason why the claps are suddenly not on the downbeats (that is, second and fourth white ticks) ? It sounds sudden, and quite bad.
  21. 02:30:680 (1) - Change this slider's orientation so that its repeat arrow doesn't get covered by the hitburst from 02:29:316 (2) -
  22. 02:39:953 (2) - Starting with this slider (included), the claps are on the wrong tick. It sounds pretty bad and really inconsistent with the rest of the map. It ends with 02:48:135 (3) - this clap.
  23. 02:55:772 (3) - VERY bad repeat. It breaks absolutely everything you've done in the diff before: the comboing and the kiai patterns. This makes 02:58:498 (2) - this slider bad for the same reasons.
  24. 03:01:225 (5) - Add a new combo here for consistency with the other kiais.
  25. 03:07:771 (7,1) - For consistency, swap the new comboes. Also add a finish on (7)'s first beat (following my previous suggestions) ?
