Thanks for the mod, but I actually don't really want to change these, because of the jumps, and the streams are kinda unnecessary :P I do agree with this though

pretty nice diff, only some suggestions
diff has a lot of triples. more than in Insane. Change some of them into sliders with reverses.. it will reduce max score and difficulty for consistency.

Okay, Aleks' post scared me about Hard being AR9. Let's check this out.

General
  • Tick rate 2 is damn perfect for this map <3
Easy
  • I must admit that the beginning was pretty bland, with 1/1 rhythms all the time, but the diff rapidly became more interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised, this is a quite good Easy. There are a few things that could be improved though:
  1. You missed two claps. It was probably done on purpose to avoid having a constant normal-clap hitsounding because you think it would sound bad, but I think it gives the map some flow that you should break only for special patterns. These are the claps you missed:
    1. 00:30:680 (4) - slider's end
    2. 01:49:771 (5) - slider's end
  2. There are a few finishes you missed as well that would add amazing flow to the map, because it would give the patterns more symmetry and make the map more consistent with itself. These are suggestions though, but consider them:
    1. 00:43:771 (3) - Add a finish on the beginning of this slider to have the same hitsounding as 00:41:589 (1) - ?
    2. 01:05:589 (2,3) - These would sound so much better with finishes on their beginning. The vocals go for a loud note at the beginning of each of these sliders, and the first one 01:03:407 (1) - does have a finish.
    3. 01:14:316 (4) - Same.
    4. 02:02:316 (2,3) - Same idea.
    5. 02:11:044 (4) - Same.
    6. 02:32:862 (1,3) - Here again, for symmetry, add a finish on the beginning of these sliders ?
    7. 02:59:044 (2,3) - Same as 01:05:589 (2,3) -
    8. 03:07:771 (3,1) - Same. Also, to keep your comboing consistent, remove the new combo on (1).
    9. 03:18:680 (1) - Here again, same idea. And remove the new combo as well. Then add one on 03:20:862 (4) - to stay consistent.
    10. 03:27:407 (3) - Same.
  3. Finally, some other problems:
    1. 00:48:680 (5) - This slider breaks the comboing, because it ends where a new combo should be. It'd be much better to fix that. Also it's a bit long, and it makes some claps miss, which sounds rather bad. (and it isn't symmetric). What I suggest is to make it end 1/1 earlier, and add a circle where it ended with a new combo.
    2. 00:53:044 (1) - For consistency with the rest of the map (pretty much a new combo every second big white tick), remove this new combo.
    3. 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) - There is a problem with this whole pattern. First of all, the comboing is inconsistent, because the slider are badly palced: they end where new combos should be. Second of all, by using a return on 01:15:407 (5) - you make the vocals at 01:16:498 - "passive", that is, the player doesn't have to click them (and there should be a finish at that spot). This is inconsistent with the beginning of the kiai and plays badly. To stay consistent with the beginning of the kiai, too, 01:17:044 (1) - remove this new combo. 01:17:589 (2) - This slider breaks the comboing as well, since the new combo should be on 01:18:680 - but the slider ends there.
    4. 01:37:225 (5) - Here again, the slider breaks the comboing: the new combo should be at 01:38:317 - but the slider ends there.
    5. 01:44:862 (1) - To be consistent in your comboing, remove this new combo.
    6. 01:53:589 (3,1,2) - Bad pattern here again. First, the new combo shouldn't be there. Second, the slider placement doesn't go with the previous long slider. Delete (1) and move (2) where it was, then add a note where (2) ended with a new combo.
    7. 02:12:135 (5,1,2,3,4,5) - Same problems as for 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) -
    8. 02:35:044 (3) - Add a new combo to keep your comboing consistent.
    9. 02:46:498 (2) - Same.
    10. 03:11:044 (2) - The repeat breaks the comboing. (see above)
    11. 03:15:953 (3) - This slider is badly placed. Its end is a highlight in the song (which I wanted you to highlight with finishes) and should be clicked, but the slider ends there and makes it passive.
    12. 03:24:680 (3,1) - Badly placed slider for (3), and remove the new combo on (1).
Kyshiro's Normal
  1. The sliders are too fast and the spacing is way too big... Difficulty settings are pretty high too.
  2. 00:19:771 (1,3) - Sorry but these sliders look awful. The very sharp turn that isn't linear makes a sharp angle in the border, while the other has a smoothish curve, and it looks really bad. As you went for linear sliders for the whole map, make these linear as well.
  3. 00:38:316 (4) - This clap sounds weird. If you had used that kind of pattern consistently in the map, it would have been okay, but this is the only time you use a double clap like this. To stay consistent, remove it.
  4. 00:45:953 (1,2,3) - Change the arrangement on this pattern. (2) is hidden under 00:45:407 (3) - which is not acceptable in Normal difficulties.
  5. 00:50:316 (3) - This slider is partially hidden under two hitbursts. Move it away.
  6. 00:50:862 (4,1) - To stay consistent in your comboing (and because (4) is the beginning of the sentence, not (1) ), swap these new combos.
  7. 00:54:134 (6) - Hidden under the previous slider's track and hiburst.
  8. 00:57:407 (1) - This is a bit nazi of me, but change the curve a bit so the slider's end (and the repeat arrow) don't get covered by 00:56:316 (4) - and its hitburst.
  9. 01:05:589 (1) - Just like for Easy, a finish here would sound amazing, be it only for symmetry in the patterns.
  10. 01:07:771 (1) - Same.
  11. 01:14:316 (4,1) - For consistency with the rest of the map, swap the new comboes. Also add a finish at 01:14:317 - for the same reason as Easy.

  • Because of Aleks' post, I was expecting a superinsane Hard with AR9 and ridiculous settings, but holy shit, this Hard is absolutely fantastic. There are a few things I think could be improved though:
  1. 00:36:680 (6,1) - Surprising jump, given that the other transitions to new comboes didn't have any jump at all, neither before nor after, and I don't think anything in the song calls for this. Please remove this jump and keep the spacing consistent to make the diff consistent.
  2. 00:45:407 (6,1) - Same. Even though you're transitioning into a new part of the song with different patterns and stuff, having such a big sudden jump isn't a good idea. It kind of ruins the effect.
  3. 00:45:953 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Seeing you kept a standard hitsounding on the patterns after this one, remove the clap on (3).
  4. 00:57:953 (2) - Remove the clap on this to keep your comboing consistent.
  5. 00:59:044 (5) - This slider is badly placed. It breaks the comboing and the patterns. I understand why you placed a slider here, but it'd be better to just have a circle here, and a circle at 00:59:589 - with a clap and a new combo (removing the one on 00:59:862 (1) - of course) to keep the patterns consistent.

  3. You missed the finishes. Follow what I said in Easy and Normal to add them, it sounds much better with them.
Mapset was interesting. Insane is meh because it's trying too hard to be difficult... And AR9 doesn't fit.

  • I must admit that the beginning was pretty bland, with 1/1 rhythms all the time, but the diff rapidly became more interesting. I'm pleasantly surprised, this is a quite good Easy. There are a few things that could be improved though:
  1. You missed two claps. It was probably done on purpose to avoid having a constant normal-clap hitsounding because you think it would sound bad, but I think it gives the map some flow that you should break only for special patterns. These are the claps you missed:
    1. 00:30:680 (4) - slider's end
    2. 01:49:771 (5) - slider's end
  2. There are a few finishes you missed as well that would add amazing flow to the map, because it would give the patterns more symmetry and make the map more consistent with itself. These are suggestions though, but consider them:
    1. 00:43:771 (3) - Add a finish on the beginning of this slider to have the same hitsounding as 00:41:589 (1) - ?
    2. 01:05:589 (2,3) - These would sound so much better with finishes on their beginning. The vocals go for a loud note at the beginning of each of these sliders, and the first one 01:03:407 (1) - does have a finish.
    3. 01:14:316 (4) - Same.
    4. 02:02:316 (2,3) - Same idea.
    5. 02:11:044 (4) - Same.
    6. 02:32:862 (1,3) - Here again, for symmetry, add a finish on the beginning of these sliders ?
    7. 02:59:044 (2,3) - Same as 01:05:589 (2,3) -
    8. 03:07:771 (3,1) - Same. Also, to keep your comboing consistent, remove the new combo on (1).

  3. Finally, some other problems:
    1. 00:48:680 (5) - This slider breaks the comboing, because it ends where a new combo should be. It'd be much better to fix that. Also it's a bit long, and it makes some claps miss, which sounds rather bad. (and it isn't symmetric). What I suggest is to make it end 1/1 earlier, and add a circle where it ended with a new combo.
    2. 00:53:044 (1) - For consistency with the rest of the map (pretty much a new combo every second big white tick), remove this new combo.
    3. 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) - There is a problem with this whole pattern. First of all, the comboing is inconsistent, because the slider are badly palced: they end where new combos should be. Second of all, by using a return on 01:15:407 (5) - you make the vocals at 01:16:498 - "passive", that is, the player doesn't have to click them (and there should be a finish at that spot). This is inconsistent with the beginning of the kiai and plays badly. To stay consistent with the beginning of the kiai, too, 01:17:044 (1) - remove this new combo. 01:17:589 (2) - This slider breaks the comboing as well, since the new combo should be on 01:18:680 - but the slider ends there.
    4. 01:37:225 (5) - Here again, the slider breaks the comboing: the new combo should be at 01:38:317 - but the slider ends there.
    5. 01:44:862 (1) - To be consistent in your comboing, remove this new combo.
    6. 01:53:589 (3,1,2) - Bad pattern here again. First, the new combo shouldn't be there. Second, the slider placement doesn't go with the previous long slider. Delete (1) and move (2) where it was, then add a note where (2) ended with a new combo.
    7. 02:12:135 (5,1,2,3,4,5) - Same problems as for 01:15:407 (5,1,2,3,4) -
    8. 02:35:044 (3) - Add a new combo to keep your comboing consistent.

  1. The sliders are too fast and the spacing is way too big... Difficulty settings are pretty high too.
  2. 00:19:771 (1,3) - Sorry but these sliders look awful. The very sharp turn that isn't linear makes a sharp angle in the border, while the other has a smoothish curve, and it looks really bad. As you went for linear sliders for the whole map, make these linear as well.
  3. 00:38:316 (4) - This clap sounds weird. If you had used that kind of pattern consistently in the map, it would have been okay, but this is the only time you use a double clap like this. To stay consistent, remove it.
  4. 00:45:953 (1,2,3) - Change the arrangement on this pattern. (2) is hidden under 00:45:407 (3) - which is not acceptable in Normal difficulties.
  5. 00:50:316 (3) - This slider is partially hidden under two hitbursts. Move it away.
  6. 00:50:862 (4,1) - To stay consistent in your comboing (and because (4) is the beginning of the sentence, not (1) ), swap these new combos.
  7. 00:54:134 (6) - Hidden under the previous slider's track and hiburst.
