well first of all the #announce has to be fixed, showing only better announcements that people would actually care about. I'm sure it's something to be improved on in the future.

Haha. Uhm I completly agree with #3, because it makes no sense so it should be removed, but, in other hand, I don't really know why, but I find it a bit interesting to know which maps have been deleted recently. lol
Oh, and announcing #1 ranks on Taiko and CtB in #announce is a must. We have a lot of taiko and ctb players now, so it should be enough reason to prioritize this feature. o/

Things I think that should be shown in #announce:
1. Top ranks from beatmap specific (osu!standard, osu!taiko, osu!fruits, and osu!mania) AND convert (standard maps played in other gamemode) gameplays
2. Beatmap updates
