Thus there is something wrong with the osu! backend.

Are you using Chrome? If so, that issue is already known. Just keep refreshing or use the new site.

confirming, placing the image below in my signature is not displaying, either. I am also using Chrome, it outputs error 502

This should be resolved? Please check to make sure everything is in working order.

Please also post again if the issue returns, seems servers are unstable again, so it's very possible the issue will return.
