[resolved] Osu! sound changes?

Here goes me being stupid on the forums again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ So when I'm playing osu! I notice during the songs the sound changes slightly like there's some kind of filter change or something. I probably should be reading patch notes, but I figured this would be quicker. I think I noticed it coinciding with kiai (idk how to spell that) once, but that could've been just a coincidence. Thanks.

osu! has different hitsounds that can be changed by the map creator. Your skin can also affect these sounds if you have them enabled in the options menu. Is this what you speak of? (Hitsounds are sounds you here when hitting a note)

No, not hitsounds. I know what hitsounds are, btw :lol:

I'm talking the actual sound of the song.

Try a different audio output device, like another pair of headphones.

Make sure you don't have surround sound or any other audio enhancements such as loudness equalization enabled through Windows or any other application you use to control/configure your current output device.

Oooooh. Yeah, I had my sound running through a virtual audio cable because I was running Razer Surround Pro. Thanks, Death.
