I think it's quite balanced with a little positive here, and a little negative there.

I was wondering if you guys know about the term.

I'm not trying to offend anyone or anything; instead, this topic is one that I would like people to share about even more, and would like to talk about it till I'm on this platform - if any of you has went / is going through it, or if anyone you know personally is going through it, what kind of experience did you have dealing with people who have it, or just anything - even off topic - that concerns the issues related to this illness in general.

"Why does it matter to you? It's something I would rather not speak about!"

Well, I have a story that concerns me and my family in particular, and a really awkward one to be honest (and even I feel very insecure mentioning about it), which no one really knows about - except for the neighbors, of course. They're always there to talk ever so casually about the serious issues that one faces in their daily lives, with no seriousness whatsoever. But I will leave that for later once we get really frank with each other, since I don't think it's really the right time to open up about it.

And I'm pretty sure that my case isn't even half as serious as that of many of the people in this community. I just want to make sure that we're not here just to game, but also to communicate, and those who have any kind of heavy thoughts or feelings that may be putting a lot of stress on your throat to even speak about, just let your keyboard do it.

If you think you're still not confident enough to post about it in front of millions of people, I will always be there to talk about it! Just hit me up when you find me online in-game, or inbox me otherwise. (But I recommend being frank with others, after all most of us haven't even seen each other in real life! And rude comments will not be tolerated, nor do I want anyone to hurt anyone's emotions! Please, just don't do that.)

And since there are also a huge number of people in this community who are even younger than me, there's one last piece of advice especially for all of you (and for the rest as well): never ever take any step in your life that can't be undone. You may think that this is just as far as it goes, but always remember that the darkest hour is just before the dawn.

That's all I had to say for now, and I really appreciate it if you actually took your time to read the whole thing!
Let your heart speak on this thread!

Have a great day, and a great life ahead!!

It's really great that you're making this post to encourage people. However, I just have one, uhn, ideological disagreement.
I think that taking steps that can't be undone is a part of life itself. Time always moves forward, and we can never get it back. That makes how we use our time infinitely more important than anything else, because you can't undo it. You can't go back.
But why let that stop you? If you're making a decision where there's no way you'll go back, don't just curl up in fear. Examine all the angles, and then just bite the bullet. The only thing we've got to lose, is time.

Well, that's just my take on it, and it's with this take that I try to steer my middle school life towards fulfilment.

That's true indeed, thanks for mentioning that! But my context for the statement was quite different! Often the choices that "can't be undone" are the ones which we would not want to make. It's always easy to take a wrong step instead of a right one, and in most of the cases there's just no going back!

While the positive steps that one takes is just upto his or her own free will! There's always enough room for good things to happen. :)

Considering that when you try to confront your own existence and pinpoint whether or not anything done will matter universally knowing that in death we don't have the conscience to observe the results of anything that we've done, missing out on the ever-extending remainder of time, it's sometimes pretty hard to feel content with any of the things you've done, and it's hard to really even care about what you do or why you bother doing anything anymore. When emotion gets involved, this will lead to some pretty deep depression.

Well, to be more personal in addressing how any of this relates to me, I'm saying that I'd be hard-pressed to find a moment in recent years where I was genuinely happy without anything bringing me down, and without any immediate hardships, not only emotionally or situationally, but existentially.

I guess I'd still say I try to enjoy life, since that's naturally what most of us want, but with apathy, most of the emotional value is missing, and I kinda just feel empty. I don't have an exact or dedicated motive for why I do anything, why I eat, why I socialize, or why I bother thinking about how ultimately pointless everything seems to be, and how humanity has been so affected by that to the point that we have to come up with religions and deities to find some existential and even "spiritual" comfort so we don't feel purposeless.

Otherwise, I think I'll be okay. Because of my apathy, I doubt I'd react much to anything regarding my thoughts on the purpose of life and the purpose of information coming from the lack of information, often just referred to as how "something can come from nothing".

But in a general sense, I'd still say im discontent with my life.
