Osu! Stars!/PPv3
Osu!Stars! is a new player ranking and progression system overhaul, focused on player individualities, while still giving them a fresh and unique progression in their gameplay.

Features:
1.1 - Beatmap Skills: Each new ranked map shall receive 1 or more of the following flags:
#Stamina - Tapping Stamina
#Tenacity - Streaming
#Agility - Raw Aim
#Accuracy - Rhythmic Accuracy
#Precision - Ability to hit small circles
#Reaction - SIght-reading
#Memory - Flashlight performance
#Reading - Aim related map reading
Players will have a new ranking metric in their profiles, the star points, which will be awarded by playing maps.
1.2 - New individual player progression: A new bracket system for those who want their efforts to be rewarded. All players will begin in the first bracket, and then will go up as they progress in the game:
#Easy line: Maps ranging from 1 to 3 stars
#Medium line: Maps ranging from 3 to 5 stars
#Hard line: Maps ranging from 5 to 6 stars
#Insane line: Maps ranging from 6 to 7 stars
#Extreme line: Maps ranging from 7 to 9 stars
Note: Players are in any way forced to follow a certain progress path, and they can keep playing the game, as their current Stars Points shall be in every way, similar to how current PP system works.
1.3 - Star Rank: Each of the lines (Easy - Extreme) have their own leaderboards. As soon as a player reaches the line "cap", they will receive a promotion, and start the next line. It should not be difficulty to progress in the game, however, there are bonuses for those who want to improve and play competitively: The top ranked players in each line shall receive rewards such as supporter time, exclusive badges, or others.
1.4 - Map mechanics: To avoid infamous cases of farm maps, while still motivating players to improve, maps shall have 2 new exclusive mechanics to them:
#A map's star point reward is inversely proportional to the amount of high-level plays in the map. The more the perfect plays on the map, the less the points it will give to players.
#Progression factor: Each map's star point reward will take into account how many tries a player has done to the map. The more times a player plays the map, more points will he receive. Example: A player who played a map 50 times and improved in the map will receive more points than a player who got a first attempt perfect score.
1.5 - Why is it so good?
Osu!Stars! is a player ranking and progression system based on PPv1, PPv2 and many of the communnity's opinion and desires while still being simple to new and old players, and effective to any player.
#Players are able to play as they wish, without any responsablity: A new player is not really interested in numbers and rankings. His Star points will behave just as current PP does.
#New multiplayer features and tournaments: Players can create rooms with other players that share his same line, playing maps that are from their current line.
#The end of farm maps: As stated in map mechanics and map skills, maps that were once considered farm will lose their high reward over time, and motivate players to find new maps.
#Players will be able to improve in what they wish to improve: Knowing a map's "atribute", players can filter them, and play what they really like, and improve in these skills, feeling rewarded.
#Beatmap creativity: Mappers shall experiment new things in maps. Many of them do maps for the solely purpose of those beign farmed, with this new system, they can play around with their new maps, and see what combinations of skills shall give more points to the player.

As of right now, this whole project is only in paper, but it would be really interesting if there was a community effort to bring this alive. Considering Lazer's new open-source nature, this should be possible.
Please, leave your opinions about this system, it would be really awesome if we could create something as a community!
