[resolved] Osu not opening

Problem Details:
I can't open osu! Everytime I click the app to open, it doesn't open. I tried redownloading, didn't work. It won't let me uninstall it because the computer thinks it's open (but it's not). I also tried restarting my computer, that did not work either. I don't want to go into the files and delete stuff quite yet. Does anyone have another option?

I have the same problem!
Were you playing osu and your computer restarted?
Do get the error msg that it doesnt have enough runtime?

Two things:
Was your osu updating when you last played it?
If yes, please check here. This user has the same problem as you.

If not, please specify what happened before osu stopped working. As Tr3sLeches said, were you playing it when it crashed, or did you just start up your computer?

Also: Are you using a Macbook? If so, try here.

These 2 things did not fix osu!

I was playing osu then my mac restarted.
I tried opening osu and said there was a update! I clicked it and osu crashed!
Then I kept getting a error msg (Unable to find a version of the runtime to run this application)

I can tell there is something wrong with the files or something cause I downloaded osu again and transfered all my skins and songs and it works fine.
Is there anything else I need to transfer?

Probably not, because osu works fine now. I recommend going to the Osu! Mac help forum if something goes wrong again.

Omg it happened again!
Osu fails to run!
It said there was a update so I clicked it and osu crashed and wont startup wtf

I dont know what is happening cause this has happened 2 times already
I get a Microsoft.Net framework error. Nothing is working so far!
I am not going to constantly redownload osu over and over again

Ok so I am redownloading it but I get the same issue for some reason
Any osu doesnt work anymore for me

I have an HP PC. I click to open the app, it does the loading circle next to the cursor for about 2 seconds, then the loading circle disappears and nothing else happens.

GamingGlove: Re-installing osu should be a last resort. Osu crashing after an update should be listed in this help forum.

What does the loading screen look like? Does it say it is updating osu? If yes, try here(reddit)

If it's not, can you post a link to a screenshot of the loading screen?

Literally wiping everything osu from my computer and redownloading fixed it. Now I have to redownload everything, RIP.
