Basically Team Mode instead of head to head for mania multiplayer.

there could be one where every row of keys are given to players and the rows would change every 1-5 seconds. or just tag coop where the falling keys are colored based on color.

There are some maps that were made like that. Not multiplayer tho. It was planned when osu! co-op got added, but was cut short when peppy decided to do everything from scratch.
