Well, another reason for the contest is that the amount of beatmap approved has been pretty slow lately, so I thought a bit of reward will be able to get the mapping community heated up a bit more
Really? None of you are going to point this part out?
Huh? I don't see what is wrong with it

Where do I sign up
Don't worry, I am keeping track of people who has shown interest so far (which seems to be only you, and another"seems legit" guy who mentioned something about his swag)

Start with the competition's structure and rules before announcing a prize. This is totally backwards.
Also, about time you show up Peppy
I didn't post the rule fist because I was still waiting to see if people would be into the idea of having a contest.
If I were to type up all the rule, and no one join, it would be quite... disheartening
Oh well, here is a brief summary of the rule
-I will provide two mp.3 file of two different songs
-Participant can choose to make a beatmap out of one of those two songs (they can also do both songs)
-I will judge the beat map that made it into the Ranked beatmap only (which means beatmaps that don't make it into the ranked category, won't be judged)
-I will pick the beatmap that I like the most for each song, and gives out a reward of $100 dollar for the person who win for that specific song
-But if that participant also win in the other song, I will give that participant $300 dollars (grand prize)
so in the end, the result could either be:
Vanilla Prize Scenario:
Beatmapper D win the first songs, but not the second, get $100
Beat Mapper P win the second songs, but not the first, also get $100
or
Grand Prize Scenario:
BeatMapper K made the best beatmap for both songs, and win $300 (The grand prize I stated)
The reward would be sent through online transaction for security reason
If the winner doesn't have any form of online money keeping method, I will ship out a prize of their choosing that is roughly equal to the money the won (like, a PS Vita, etc for certain) to their given address
So, yeah, that's about the rough summary of the rule
