I say this because in the near future, when osz2 is released, I'll be moving towards packing beatmap packs, themed and artists and what not, to help out as much as possible. I did the NightCore packs as a side thing because I was obsessed with it for a few months, and it's ended up pulling in 22,000 downloads in total across the now 4 packs. I uploaded the 4th one about two week ago and it's gotten about 300 or 400 downloads so far.
I'm more enthusiastic about helping out, and doing artist map packs as well as themed seems to be fun, but under request from DeathxShinigami, I'm holding off till osz2 is released.
The main reason I ask is that I can turn the download page into one with customized branding, and with permission from peppy, I'd like to make an osu! themed page for it, to sort of say "Yes, this is another place that offers downloads to beatmap packs as well". Not to mention the account can go inactive and the files won't be deleted, as well as a dropbox for users with access and they're able to upload more map packs to files I make available. Instead of a 200mb limit, it would be a 4gb limit per file, so it can benefit the community, then I'm all for it, but I'm not sure at the moment.
Of course, it won't become a community account, no. I still use it for personal uploads, which I'm able to lock the folder so people can't just browse my files and rip what ever they want from it. Not to mention there's no real bandwidth limit on MediaFire, but I'd be able to offer a few Direct Download Links to help though. The price is $9/mo so it's nothing TOO big at all, I just am considering it at the moment.
