which is the most exciting anime you've seen? that

For me it was Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Every episode was exciting not ceased to amaze with the Gurren Lagann evolution and other things I do not want to spoil..

Recently I couldn't take my eyes of Gosick with excitement each episode. That is one of the best anime I have seen.

Saying One Piece would be too mainstream, Fate/stay night was really good, I have a bad memory, I barely remember anything, but I do remember that it was awesome

Exciting? Eden of the East and Death Note... Two of the few I was genuinely on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was going to happen next on top of just being good.

The most excitement I got watching an anime was the original run of Neon Genesis Evangelion before any of these other anime were released.
For its time nothing was remotely close to it in my honest opinion.

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni, Kara no Kyoukai, Haibane Renmei, Welcome to the NHK... I really can't decide on one in particular but these are the ones most prone to be rewatched by me. I'm a real fan of psychological anime, although my taste isn't limited to that genre
