I recently had the idea about messing with my hitclap sounds, specifically I want the infamous "spiderman ass slap" to be one of my hitclap sounds. I have very little experience in Audacity so the best I can do is amplify the sound and crop it so it's an appropriate size for a hitsound. I'm asking if anyone has better experience or advice on mixing this sound so it's actually fitting and not out of place in my hitsounds.
I would like the spiderman hitclap to sound sort of like this normal one but retain it's "unique" sound so to speak. I'm not sure how I can improve sound quality through effects or make it have an reverb or echo effect that's fitting.
For those of you who don't know what the "Spiderman ass slap" is, I guess this is the best I can do.
So if anyone has any advice or can improve it for me, I'd be really grateful.
Also sorry if this is in the wrong thread, this is a skinning element but if you want to get technical it's also an element of gameplay, right?
