this is clearly where the song reaches its climax climax (you get it) but amount of gap in this is like EZ -> NM ------> HD -> MX. i would suggesting to nerf HD triples into just a double, and Buffing NM with adding more single note in Synths (every 1/2). HD might be a little bit repetitive with its intro part will looks almost the same in structural but that way, spread would be more appropriate ok i add note every 1/2 for buff NM

there's been something happened in the mania qualify section last week when theres a couple of mapset has been disqualified due to hitsound is "too blended" with the song. to the point where you cant even heard the difference between 100% fx and 100% music.
so the issues right now is your hit @30% should be changed (this is barely audible). at least to 60% or any volume you think its hearable on 100% music 100% fx

So, yeah, that hitsound is a problem.



(tl;dr delay this long is unrankable, pls fix)

The maximum delay permitted for hitsounds is 5ms, as stated in the General Ranking Criteria; rules may have been different in the past, so your argument about using it from another ranked map doesn't really hold here. In any case, the delay here is around 5.5ms, so that needs to be removed.

Just as a side note, why exactly is the hitnormal so quiet? Even at 00:24:698 (24698|2), it lacks the volume to even be heard over the quieter guitar strums. I'd recommend increasing the volume of the sample here or finding a louder one (because -20dB max for a sample is a little silly imo)

Use an audio-editing program such as Audacity to remove the silence at the start of that .wav file.

these are guidelines in Ranking criteria that i think it needs to be addressed.

blur > blurr transition at 48661 is barely noticable at all but it caused a high sb load. another reason why you should remove one of them, this will definitely reduce the sb load

this would help to reduce the amount of appearing sprites at the same time

seems like this will go down because of storyboard, you might wanna report that to the forum i guess

regardless, i can't really agree with arzenvald with the section at 00:12:442 - . structurally its fine, using the jacks at 00:15:369 - where the guitar becomes most accentuated by the repeating pitches. and having them anchor would lead to some pretty heft hand balance issues, specifically at 00:15:917 - , and really limit the play-field when it comes to variation, especially when the drums at 00:17:381 - and 00:17:930 - are being emphasised.

i do have some other concerns though

[MX]

00:23:600 - there is an extra guitar sound behind this jumptrill here and i think you tried to show that with the SVs but they are very weak for the sound you are trying to convey. you could either show it within the chart, by doing something like this: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/10262049 which makes it differentiate from the other instances of jumptrill that don't have the guitar, or by making the SVs stronger, and making the stutters more prominent (something like 1.75x and 0.25x).

00:46:832 (46832|2,46832|3,47015|2,47015|3) - no real reason to have these both in [34] as it causes unnecessary hand balance towards the right and since one is for a kick and the other for a snare, you are probably best off moving some over. you even have 00:47:381 (47381|2,47381|3) - in [34] which is for a hat so all three should be different as per the instrument behind them

00:48:295 - ok so these SVs are very slow on the spectrum. i see your intentions but it averages to 0.75x, which ok isnt that slow but you can still see the slowdown which imo get in the way of the effect you are trying to convey. if you want them averaged (which i recommend), change the 2.5x to 4.5x, or move the 0.5x svs to the blue tick afterwards.

00:54:698 (54698|0,54698|1) - why double? no kick or snare

01:00:643 (60643|3,60734|3) - okay i think i mentioned this a while ago but i dont like the idea of minijacks as they just cause unnecessary strain. i mean the BPM isnt too high but it still causes that kinda effect that extra emphasis on col 4 in this instance that isnt desirable. you are probably better off deleting 01:00:643 (60643|3) - to make way for the cymbal, and aid with flow. i wont mention all instances so please go through and do that yourself cause im lazy :^))

01:10:247 - 01:10:978 - these should be both quads as there is the extra cymbal sound. somebody said quads were a bit inconsistent, but you skipped a couple for playability i guess so i can let that slide

01:35:308 (95308|2,95308|3,95399|1,95399|0,95491|3,95491|2,95582|0,95582|1,95674|3,95674|2,95765|1,95765|0) - this jumptrill has some very quiet drum rolls behind at and tbh for consistency with other instances, should be a normal stream. though, since the song is at a peak of intensity you could do something like: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/10262260 to emphasise it more than the other streams beforehand.

01:35:856 (95856|3) - technically a ghost, but it would feel odd without it so you could do something like: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/10262271 to show that they are not all part of the grace note you are charting. apply similarly if you applied the point with the jumptrill above

01:12:076 (72076|1,72167|3,72259|1,72350|3,72442|1) - more of a nitpick but this trill could be avoided, as atm its pretty left hand heavy i guess

nothing i can really complain about except 00:17:472 (17472|0,17564|3) - which are questionable in a normal diff, but i dont see any other alternative that has the same effect so i wont try to fight it

[EZ]

01:09:881 (69881|0,69881|3,70613|0,70613|3,71344|0,71344|3) - having three of these in [14] is really not necessary, and isnt really a try at any variation tbh

thats all really. some might of been pretty subjective but i tried to justify where i could.

as for the storyboard, i think the concerns layed out are pretty valid, so it would be smart of Arzenvald to request a dq i guess.

Remember this song only has 160 bpm and it will fit the MX (INSANE) difficulty weighness, and in fact the current pattern plays not correctly according to what the music provide, in my view as player and as a charter. Remember that playability doesn't always needs comfortable pattern but you can always achieve a better playabilty experience, the experience to feel the notes synchronized to the music accordingly.

Well, I wasn’t really saying that it would be bad to play per se, just limiting chartwise, and possibly a hinder to balance and strain I guess. I can’t really argue against it too far though. And tbh, it’s not like the pattern veers too far from what the song is trying to convey. Yeah I agree it’s not perfect but it’s not like horrifically bad at the same time.

I don’t have a problem either way tho, up to atian now
