Well, even if the rearrangement is not related to the game, the original song still belongs to the touhou project, therefore i think that source should be touhou project. You might want to look at some Undead Corporation rearrangements (Everything will Freeze, The Empress, etc.). They all have touhou project as the source.Chewin wrote:

Since the player is expected to have good 1/3 rhythm skills at 00:52:615 (1) - , I think it would be reasonable to make 00:31:865 (2) – into 2 circles. If that sentiment holds, then notes like 00:33:365 – would also naturally want more strength. I might be using more of an Insane perspective on this, so maybe that's going too far, but I want to share my thoughts.

about the diff spread, i think there is an issue(?) because the star rating just jumps from 2.14* to 3.75*. while it looks like a 1-star jump, it's actually a 1.6* jump in difficulty. Maybe add another diff (~2.7*)(i don't know how to map, but i think that maybe just add some spacing into the 2.14* diff to get a harder one)

- Highly suggest you to darken the Combo color 2 because its almost white and playing the map with this combo color especially in kiai where all that lightning occurs ,not friendly at all for eyes
- The spread between normal and top difficulty is totally broken. For quick comparison lets focus at 00:52:615 - this section, This is your rhythm in top difficulty http://puu.sh/yBXuU/fdc552666c.jpg while this is your rhythm in normal difficulty http://puu.sh/yBXvu/bd640463ab.jpg . don't think i need to explain more here lol The safest bet would be to get a difficulty in between, Buffing normal might ruin the spread between first two difficulties and nerfing the top difficulty will ruin its concepts.
- 01:16:615 - Why does this section has 50% volume ,its a lot calmer than 00:52:615 - this section and this section has 40% volume only. Also the kiai is a lot more intense in song and your volume is 40% there too, Recheck all these volume settings. Oh and if you think the custom sounds are too loud then you should really do something about them because 90% players play maps without custom hitsounds so its gonna sound really weird in general for them

Since the player is expected to have good 1/3 rhythm skills at 00:52:615 (1) - , I think it would be reasonable to make 00:31:865 (2) – into 2 circles. If that sentiment holds, then notes like 00:33:365 – would also naturally want more strength. I might be using more of an Insane perspective on this, so maybe that's going too far, but I want to share my thoughts. I got you but I prefer slider here because I like more placing sliders between two circles in the timeline (you maybe noticed it's my stile ew)

- Highly suggest you to darken the Combo color 2 because its almost white and playing the map with this combo color especially in kiai where all that lightning occurs ,not friendly at all for eyes I always used this kind of white when I have white on my BG, it's fine here, slighly darker but still not totally white
- The spread between normal and top difficulty is totally broken. For quick comparison lets focus at 00:52:615 - this section, This is your rhythm in top difficulty http://puu.sh/yBXuU/fdc552666c.jpg while this is your rhythm in normal difficulty http://puu.sh/yBXvu/bd640463ab.jpg . don't think i need to explain more here lol The safest bet would be to get a difficulty in between, Buffing normal might ruin the spread between first two difficulties and nerfing the top difficulty will ruin its concepts. - 01:16:615 - Why does this section has 50% volume ,its a lot calmer than 00:52:615 - this section and this section has 40% volume only. Also the kiai is a lot more intense in song and your volume is 40% there too, Recheck all these volume settings. Oh and if you think the custom sounds are too loud then you should really do something about them because 90% players play maps without custom hitsounds so its gonna sound really weird in general for them Because there are no custom hitsounds here so I kept it a little higher but reduced till 40%. Btw I think hitsounds are fine in this way because even if I hadn't have custom hitsounds (or lower ones) I would have kept this volume because this is not a song where the hitcircles need to be emphasized that much with hitsounding being a calm song

But the thing is ,the stream on 01:19:615 - Because the song is much much more calmer than the other part and the calm part shouldn't get as much emphasis as intense part I just edited the shape but I won't increase the spacing for two reasons: 1) The melody is still calm and not getting higher pitches, I emphasized the one at 01:20:365 (1) - already from pinatamod and 2) there is a balance between spacing on this stream with the following ones and can't increase it or I should increase them too :3 Changing shape already makes the difference imo, so fixed!
- 01:23:365 (3) - 01:25:240 (5) - Sliders like this should really end on previous 1/3rd tick because the sounds on 01:23:740 - 01:25:615 - are stronger than 01:23:365 - 01:25:240 - so they should rather be click able I got you but there is no sound on that tick and I don't want to overmap that. I think it's fine as it is because there is already the whistle that emphasizes it enough and also because the sound at 01:23:365 (3) - is continuos and ends on that white tick. If there was been a sound on the 1/3 tick I would have done it but actually there isn't
