Quick question: Is there any possible way to import AVI movie data for backgrounds to beatmaps when editing? I've played a number of beatmaps that appear to have what looks like movie recordings playing in the background, but I can't see any apparent way to important movies when writing my own beatmaps. Is it possible to do this, and if so, then how do I go about it?

Thanks in advanced. :)

Yeah just drag and drop the video or use "Insert Background" from the editor, also moving this to "General Questions"

Same as a regular background - drag the video over the editor.

You might need to adjust the offset, but due to the terminology you use, i doubt you need to be that exacting or perfect.

Excellent! Thanks for the help. :)

Turns out you guys were right - It's simply a matter of drag and drop. Unfortunately, on my end, due to the file extension of the file I was wanting to use, osu! did not recognise the file type. However, I found that simply renaming it to something else fixed the problem, and I was able to drag and drop as you suggested.

Thanks for the help. :)

Compatible formats are .avi and .flv. You should remember to remove the audio from the video too
