Long story short my friend who is extremely new to osu! wanted to make a beatmap (it was horrible but i digress.) so i downloaded his beatmap, deleted all the notes and started from scratch. i actually put alot of effort into it and wanted to submit it. however when i click upload beatmap, i am greeting with a frustrating message that the beatmap is not mine. i've tried removing the numbers from the folder and replacing the beatmapID and beatmapsetID but nothing works. If someone is willing to help me fix or workaround this frustrating issue it would be greatly appreciated.
